Work you will do

The individual would be responsible for converting data into captivating, elegant visual representations to help the firm make better, data-driven decisions. The professional will work to interpret and portray data to tell stories in a variety of different project situations. Additionally, this work will drive the next generation of data visualization software products. A successful candidate will have deep background in data visualization, prototyping and building interactive data experiences. Professionals will work collaboratively with other teams, to bridge the fields of engineering, storytelling, design, and data. Key Responsibilities

  • Data Visualization Development: Develop, design, and maintain advanced Tableau dashboards and analytics to support business decision-making
  • Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications for Tableau
  • Integration and Optimization: Integrate Tableau with various data sources, ensuring data accuracy and Optimize Tableau dashboards focusing on usability, performance, flexibility, and standardization.
  • Testing and Troubleshooting: Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting of Tableau solutions to ensure data integrity and performance.
  • Technical Support and Training: Provide technical support and training to end-users on Tableau usage and best practices.
  • Stakeholder and Project Management: Present analytical findings to different audience groups, translate technical project details into understandable language for management and non-technical stakeholders, and provide evidence-backed recommendations. Manage complex stakeholder requests, maintain project trackers, and ensure timely delivery of visualization projects

Skillsets required:

  • Experience: 6 to 8 years of relevant experience in data visualization, with a strong background in BI development, particularly with Tableau.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced wireframe development skills, proficiency in SQL, and experience with data integration from multiple sources. Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and portray data to tell compelling stories.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Good business writing skills, both written and oral.
  • Project and Stakeholder Management Skill: Proven ability to manage projects within a highly matrixed organization, preferably for a global corporation or professional services firm.
  • Microsoft Office: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or a related field. A master's degree or MBA from a reputed institute is a plus.

  • Shift: 2 PM to 11 PM
  • Location: Hyderabad Office
