Work you’ll do
As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for
- Enable and drive the development of strategic account plans, embedding best practice account management principles, including facilitation of account workshops
- Independently handling end-to-end project management of initiatives on the account which could pertain to any or all client relationship management, Account Operations setup execution, Account planning, Pipeline management, account contracting, internal operations., etc.
- Take a lead on relationship development with specific clients where substantial opportunity exists to grow an account – understand the client and their key drivers, proactively develop relationships with key decision makers where appropriate and make connections with relevant Partners
- Align with Deloitte's businesses to execute business priorities and expand our services footprint
- Equip partners and practitioners to have more impactful conversations with clients, influencers, and referrers.
- Enabling excellence in account operations through bringing discipline and rigour to account team cadence through:
- Keeping client experience at the centre of the account team’s purpose and engagement (e.g. CST meetings, communications, team site collaboration etc.)
- Review annual reports to provide recommendations, risks, issues, thought leadership, Deloitte opportunities etc.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of account relationship assets, SOW and invoice tracker, and onboarding assets etc
- Mapping executive relationships within the account and driving the development of strategic relationship plans
- Contribute to the account vision and strategy from end-to-end (e.g. planning, communication, execution and performance measurement)
- Create and deliver reports identifying trends and commenting on insights- including recommending appropriate action across all business units and industries to drive revenue and enable informed business decisions
- Developing strong relationships with internal stakeholders across the firm.
Work Location: Hyderabad
Shift Timings: 6.30 AM to 03.30 PM
Qualifications
Required:
- A Bachelor’s degree/ MBA (Marketing)
- 7-12 yrs proven work experience in Market research, account/client management experience is an added advantage
- Information gathering & research. Working knowledge on Secondary Market tools like Factiva, hoovers etc.
- Executive Level Communication Skills is a must
- Strong decision-making ability and capacity to exercise sound judgement and diplomacy
- Ability to analyze information and present it in a meaningful and concise way
- Strong Project management Skills
- Strong relationship building/relationship management skills as well as the ability to develop a close working relationship with colleagues
- Reporting and analysis skills interpreting qualitative and quantitative data (MS Excel skills)
- Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
Preferred:
- MS office suites (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to work with Senior Partners in a virtual setup
- Project management software experience – MS Teams
- Experience in a Professional Service firm
