Global Ethics Assistant Manager - Measurement, Monitoring and Reporting

The Global Ethics team is seeking a manager to support the design, delivery, and management of a variety of data-driven global ethics initiatives that help us execute our strategy and build a culture of integrity across Deloitte. 

 

The team

 

This is an internal firm professional service position within that supports firms of the Deloitte organization. Global Risk & Brand Protection (GR&BP) analysts in India play a critical role in enhancing, preserving, and protecting the reputation of the Deloitte organization. Specifically, GR&BP analysts assist in ensuring compliance with firm policies and professional standards in the areas of auditor independence, regulatory compliance, and risk. Functions within GR&BP include Global Independence, Technology, Regulatory, Privacy, Risk and Ethics.

The ideal GR&BP candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic work environment. They must also be able to develop best practices, develop and consistently apply a base of knowledge to matters that arise, and identify innovative solutions for complex issues. Individuals within GR&BP interact/coordinate frequently with other members across the member firm’s Risk & Regulatory Affairs group to effectively serve Deloitte professionals.

Deloitte Global Ethics works with Global and member firm (“MF”) leaders across four key strategy threads:

Role Specific Responsibilities

  • Oversee the development and management of projects related to the third-party ethics helpline, working closely with the vendor and MFs. This includes ensuring the smooth functioning of the helpline solution and addressing any issues that may arise.
  • Design, build, and implement innovative solutions to measure, monitor, and report on Global and MF ethical risk, culture, progress, performance, and impact. This may involve leveraging statistical modeling techniques to assess and monitor ethical risks using data from ethical incidents, surveys, and other sources.
  • Recommend and develop innovative technology solutions, such as apps and databases, to automate processes and improve data and reporting management and analysis. This will involve staying up to date with new tools and techniques in data analytics and making recommendations for future projects.
  • Analyze data from various sources, such as the annual survey, and provide insights and recommendations to senior leaders. This will include.
  • Creating a single source for ethics data across our various sources like Learning, Annual Survey, the Helpline, to provide a consistent source for data-driven decision-making with regards to ethics-related questions from leadership.
  • Preparing and presenting standardized, traceable, repeatable, multi-year KPIs from data sources on a variety of ethics-related topics
  • Preparing visualizations and reports on a variety of ethics-related topics using tools like Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, and PowerBI.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with Community of Practice members across member firm network to understand their needs and provide data-driven insights to support decision-making. This may include planning and leading stakeholder calls, webinars, meetings, etc.
  • Project Management: Ensure project milestones are met, and project reporting, budgeting, and monitoring are carried out effectively.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Technology or related field (BTech, MCA preferred)
  • Years of Experience:  Candidate must have minimum of 3-4 years of data collection/analysis, project monitoring, measurement, and reporting, preferably within a professional services or multinational corporation and overall experience of 6-8 years.

Technical Skills

  • Strong data analytics skills, including experience in statistical analysis, predictive analytics, and experience monitoring and forecasting risks using tools such as Advanced Excel, Python, R, and SQL
  • Advanced knowledge of database and other technology to build tools for data analysis and reporting
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau (Desktop, Prep, Server), and PowerBI
  • Exceptional reporting, process mapping, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and proven ability to work effectively within a matrix organization; ability to work effectively with individuals from different countries and cultures as well as ability to communicate and engage with stakeholders on various initiatives

  • Experience leading and executing on projects from start to finish
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in an unstructured environment
  • Self-directed and responsive
  • Diplomacy and poise in dealing with stakeholders
  • Detail oriented and team oriented 
  • Experience preparing and making presentations to senior leaders
  • Ability to predict and respond to senior leadership requests and needs
