Job title: Global Operate – Office of the Global Operate Leader

Work you’ll do:

In this role, you would be a member of the Global Operate team, working with Global businesses (Consulting, Tax & Legal, Cyber, Assurance and Financial Advisory) and various Deloitte Firms. You will provide project management expertise and develop deliverables for a variety of internal audiences, including Global Businesses, Deloitte Firms, and the Global Operate Council to engage, inspire and motivate people to embrace the significant changes that are required to achieve our ambition. You must demonstrate a deep understanding of project management best practices and apply them effectively in a global, complex environment. Strong writing abilities, high attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple projects is a must.

Key responsibilities may include:

  • Partner with business & Deloitte firm leaders to drive global alignment around strategic initiatives

  • Collaborate across the firm to assess and prioritize strategic projects to best align with Deloitte’s Operate strategy and growth objectives

  • Plan and execution of key meetings to increase collaboration and momentum; Identify, evaluate, and plan for leader visits to ensure activation and proper visibility of Operate initiatives

  • Develop and maintaining project documentation, including but not limited to project plans, meeting minutes, status reports, dashboards

  • Coordinate activities across different workstreams and stakeholders, ensuring that timelines are met. Monitor project progress and identify potential risks and issues that may impact the project's success. Proactively track and work with teams to address them

  • Connect with business leaders to gather updates, prepare & present specific updates during sessions with Operate leaders

  • Create executive level documents such as presentations, excel reports, tableau dashboards etc. for senior leadership

  • Drive onboarding standardization for businesses across workstreams. Define baseline and post onboard activities

  • Assist with the management of project budgets and resources, including tracking project expenses

  • Conduct research and analysis to support the development of project strategies and solutions

  • Maintain content on Global Operate intranet site and on the knowledge management site

  • Organize meetings and gather information to be presented during monthly check-ins with leaders and teams

  • Additional responsibilities may include:

o Contribute to cross-functional projects, working alongside Sales, Learning and Development, Shared Services and CoRe Knowledge Services and liaise with other workstreams

o Supporting adaption or evolution of the Operate strategy over time

o Implementing strategic initiatives and projects, as requested

Who you’ll work with:

The Global Operate Team is comprised of professionals with various areas of focus that collectively provide mission critical services to support Global Operate’s overall success. Whether focused on sales excellence, delivery transformation, quality and risk management, contracts management, finance and operations, capability build, communications and change management, knowledge management, marketing and market intelligence, or other activities, these professionals ensure that our Firm operates efficiently, and our people can effectively serve clients every day.

Requisite core skills and qualifications

  • Master’s degree in business administration or management

  • Experience in managing multiple projects;previous work experience with a top tier consulting firm preferred

  • Demonstrated project management skills, preferably on a cross functional or cross departmental team or a complex project

  • Experience in developing and maintaining project documentation

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple threads, with strong organization and time management skills

  • Exceptional attention to detail with strong writing skills and ability to communicate with senior leaders effectively

  • Ability to work well in a matrixed team environment with individuals from different countries and culture

  • Ability to make connections across projects, brainstorm ways to extend use of created materials

  • Knowledge of technology and business related tools and other relevant project management software

  • Experience conducting stakeholder, audience and channel analysis, impact assessments, and contributing to stakeholder engagement plans

  • Work well under pressure and can effectively and professionally navigate tough situations

  • Knowledge of brand templates; adherence to the brand standards

Work experience:

o Consultant: 4+ years, with at least 2 years of post-MBA experience
