The Team

The Office of the Global Deputy CEO (ODCEO) team acts as a strategic enabler and advisor to global leaders, driving executive decision-making. The team is responsible for advising and supporting the Deputy CEO in the overall management and strategic direction of the organization. By focusing on internal and external engagement and communications, the team helps drive successful project outcomes and supports the overall strategic direction and priorities of the organization.

The ODCEO team drives network integration across businesses and priority growth areas (e.g. Generative AI, Sustainability), through close collaboration with the Office of CEO (OCEO) and Office of COO (OCOO), to enable and execute strategic engagement. This role will provide great exposure and opportunity to engage with our global leader teams and stakeholders by helping to operationalize the activities of the ODCEO, building a broader network and professional presence, while further developing personal skills and capabilities.

Work you’ll do

You will make an impact by working with senior leaders and managing a small team on the following:

·        Drive the planning, execution, and event prep materials, including drafting agendas and briefings, and providing clear and concise regular updates on meeting status, timelines, debriefs and action items. (Includes internal and external events, client and marketplace meetings)

·        Internal data management and drafting/driving stakeholder communications.

·        Serve as the connection point between local (USI) junior team members, the local Senior Manager, and the US-based ODCEO client team members. This includes providing coaching, training, and knowledge of the day-to-day activities junior team members are contributing to.

·        Build and maintain networks with peers across the extended leadership teams

·        Help create efficient processes for regular deliverables, including maintaining documentation of processes.

·        Manage team collaboration tools and virtual team engagement.

·        Support the execution of select strategic projects, including tracking and coordination across many activities within a project.

Qualifications & Skills

·        9-12 years of experience in business and/or project management

·        Exemplary organizational and project management skills and experience with team collaboration tools (Teams, One Note)

·        Interest in the global network and working across businesses, geographies, and member firms to develop effective working relationships.

·        Ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently and keep team leader informed of progress and milestones; communicates progress and status regularly in a virtual team environment.

·        Ability to navigate and manage ambiguity in a fast paced and complex environment

·        Strategic thinking / Problem Solving: ability to work in a dynamic environment that requires critical thinking and strong analytical skills.

·        Self-starter: proactively anticipate and begin or suggest next steps to drive progress on deliverables

·        Coaching and Mentoring: Ability to coach and mentor junior colleagues to grow a high performing team

·        Team Management: Assign and oversee deliverables for junior team members to ensure high quality results; conduct performance management reviews for direct reports

·        Professional Presence: engages with team leads and key stakeholders in an appropriate and effective manner to communicate findings, build confidence in results/process, and promote decision-making.

·        Communications: strong communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written, and ability to create clear and concise executive messaging

·        Creating Quality Deliverables: establishes deliverable structure and content; reviews their own draft deliverables to ensure that they meet expectations before sharing for further review; implements and enforces high standards for quality deliverables.

·        Strong judgment skills and ability to operate both independently and effectively across a team.

·        Flexibility to work extended hours may be required to meet business needs and project deliverable timelines

Education: Bachelors/Masters. Masters Preferred

Location: Hyderabad

Work Hours: 11AM - 8PM
