Deputy Manager – ServiceNow TOSCA Automation Lead /Specialist - Deloitte Support Services India Private Limited

Work you’ll do 
Working within the Test Team to carry out test planning, scripting, and execution activities to ensure all integrated applications and technology solutions are thoroughly tested. This role will also be required to have a focus on supervisory responsibilities as well as a great attention to detail and the ability to prioritise work according to risk and business focus. As the automation lead, you will need to ensure all test activities on projects are executed as per the Test Plan. You will be required to liaise with Project Managers, Technical teams, Test Analysts, Business Analysts, Solution Designers, users to ensure any changes to the apps meet out quality standards. We expect you to be comfortable with other aspects of testing according to our Test Framework including planning, technical prep, scripting, non-functional testing & SIT, coordination of UAT and OAT phases, handover to operations. The role will be responsible for all functional and non-functional deliveries both at the operational and project level. The role will provide an ongoing guide to reports, work with multiple changing priorities and become the crucial point of contact for all the teams. The candidate will be responsible to manage their own tasks however they will be working alongside other test/project managers to ensure timely delivery of corroborated initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Test automation development using TOSCA.
Create & Maintain GUI & API Test scripts based on the test cases and user stories using TOSCA best practices.
Create & maintain Reusable test step blocks, Libraries & Recovery scenarios.
Creation of workarounds and alternate approaches for complex test steps/work with vendor to get appropriate solutions.
Create Execution lists and run scripts in Virtual machines using CI/CD with DEX.
Completion of AS1, AS2, TDS1, TDS2 and AE1 Certifications. 
Single point of contact for Test scripts development, maintenance, running and reporting test results.
Supporting the DevOps Process through Azure pipelines for continuous testing.
Work with the development team to create and maintain an automated nightly test pack.
Ensure proper traceability, version control and configuration management of all test objects developed.
Report progress and provide any test metrics or reports as required by the leadership.
Lead and manage a high-performance technical team in the delivery of test automation solutions and lead team towards successful project delivery.
Plan and oversee activities and projects; managing available internal and external resources to make sure that test automation activities / projects are completed (time, cost, and quality)
Develop test automation scenarios, test cases, test strategies, plans, executions, reporting and oversee their effective deployment.
Work collaboratively with key stakeholders, vendor representatives and other IT teams / experts to define and assess automated testing components.
Maintaining automation scripts and adherence to our Test Automation Framework
Reviewing & updating automated regression test scripts 
Coordinating with test team members to ensure any changes are fed into scripts.
Continually reviewing and ensuring alignment to the overall Automation Strategy and Framework

Test Execution       
Developing test scenarios following a risk-based approach. Theses should be created from discussions with key stakeholders, requirements documentation, solution design, high level test plan, business process maps and another project documentation.
Able to analyse technical specifications and create test conditions and test scripts.
Executing test scenarios and managing results spanning functional testing; package testing; system &   integration testing; aspects of non-functional testing; end user applications; large end user computing deployment testing
Coordinating and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities as required
Coordinating and supporting Operational Acceptance Testing (OAT) as required
Managing and reporting on progress of test activities and against entry & exit criterion.
Maintaining requirements traceability and demonstrating test progress against this
Identification and management of defects through to resolution. This may include leading defect triage sessions.
Strong at raising and retesting defects as a part of system integration
Excellent communication skills – written & verbal.

Continual improvement & innovation        
Assisting with the integration of new and 3rd party test staff to ensure they adhere to Deloitte testing standard.
Reviewing and continually improving test scenarios. 
Supporting the development of the test team by leading an internal focus area. This may be along the lines of running & maintaining internal lessons learnt or risk discussions; evaluating future test trends and presenting to the team; identifying and owning continual improvement opportunities within the team; testing and trialling new test toolsets.

Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, with relevant certifications.

Must have: 
8 to 10 years of Test lead or above experience.
5 to 7 Years of TOSCA experience with detailed understanding on scripting and defining framework. 
Should be able to train resources on Automation.
7 Years of Experience on Automation using tools like TOSCA, UFT/Selenium 
Experience of Continuous integration with Azure DevOps and GIT (Source code repository), JIRA or other tools.
Test Management Tool Experience: ServiceNow, ADO, JIRA etc.
Knowledge in API testing (Rest Assured/JSON/XML). 
>2 Years’ experience with test planning taking a risk-based approach.
Preferably Experience with SQL and Database.
Great to have hands-on experience with ServiceNow.
Extensive experience in System Integration Testing.
A thorough knowledge of Test Methodologies e.g. Agile, Waterfall, V-Model etc. 
A professional and confident style, with drive & enthusiasm and with a strong ability to multi-task. 
Strong management, communication, technical and remote collaboration skills are a must with the ability to communicate professionally and effectively with staff at all levels. 
Ability to build good relationships & conduct effective technical discussions with clients, peers, senior staff and partner with Project Managers, Developers, and SMEs/ BAs.
Agile understanding and experience in working in a scrum team.
Demonstrated ability in applying repeatable quality assurance process and methods to enterprise-wide technology projects or initiatives. 
Experience working with team members in offshore and near shore locations.
Strong verbal communication skills and strong administrative skills with a keen attention to detail.
