Job Title: UI Developer

Business Area: GDAS – Brand Studio

Job Summary
Responsible for designing and developing innovative and engaging user experiences.
Translate unique designs delivered by agencies and internal creative teams to interactive web experiences. Creating and developing interactive wire-frames and HTML mock-ups.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Collaborates with product team to design and develop innovative usable solutions for the public website
2. Translates unique designs delivered by agencies and internal creative teams to interactive web experiences
3. Responsible for coding all UI mock-ups.
4. Collaborates with the business system analysts and development teams to transform business requirements into detailed design mock-ups.
5. Ensure technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
6. Translate high-level requirements into interaction flows and transform them into functional user interfaces.
7. Optimize application for accessibility, maximum speed and scalability

Required Skills
• Ability to translate Photoshop files into HTML
• Proficiency in XD/UXPin, or other visual design and wire-framing tools
• Advanced technical skills, specialized in UI & front-end design and coding (required: HTML5, CSS3, Object Oriented JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, LESS, Angular 6 and above)
• Good understanding of SEO principles
• Good understanding of accessibility
• Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
• Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies
• Experience constructing modern web interfaces – including responsive design
• Experience front end development tools (NodeJS, Gulp, Bower)

Additional skills for well qualified candidates:
• Experience setting up client development team frameworks, processes and workflows
• Experience on framework like AEM, EJS, Angular 6, LESS, SASS


Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 4 to 6 years of full-time digital marketing and UI development experience
