Executive Manager – CoRe Operations Management
Global CoRe provides seven fundamental services to Deloitte around the world: knowledge services, creative services, contact center, data management assessment services, data protection, procurement, and real estate. We develop new and innovative ways to improve how these services are delivered across the organization, leveraging our global scope and strength to serve our organization within and across borders..
Work you’ll do
· Own and drive strategic direction and vision for the R&I team along with senior leadership and management team
· Leverage analytical acumen and critical thinking to solve complex organizational problems and propose informed recommendations that clearly lay out the outcomes
· Drive design and implementation of various work-streams aligned to organizational strategy, and own the efficacy of the outcomes
· Proactively ideate and implement solutions that increase effectiveness, efficiency, and transform existing operating models. Contribute to strategic initiatives at team and broader service- line level
· Adopt a structured approach in driving initiatives demonstrating seamless planning, robust governance, effective task delegation and strong stakeholder relationships
· Own scope and commitments made to stakeholders by being execution focused
· Create a mechanism to keep stakeholders informed of the progress and raises appropriate flags to enlist more support
· Work with leadership to develop operational forecast and budget for area of responsibility and manage expenses to budgeted goals
· Act as a change agent by designing and executing appropriate change management strategies, getting buy-ins from stakeholders, providing clarity, and by showcasing agility to change often
· Actively develop and leverage networks and people across Deloitte to further R&I’s priorities and goals
· Work closely with internal enabling teams to drive effectiveness in operations, delivery, recruitment, and learnings
· Increase team’s visibility across Deloitte’s length and breadth by engaging them through meaningful outreach conversations
· Own development of team members through timely coaching and mentoring. Contribute to all aspects of Deloitte’s performance management framework
· Build and drive collaboration and cohesion at the group and service line level. Own self- development consistently seek feedback to develop self and the team. Foster an environment of continuous learning
· Create and execute industry best practices within area of responsibility
Skills / Qualification
· MBA or equivalent post-graduation with 12-15 years of experience with professional services firm of repute
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills, and the ability to communicate strategic priorities to senior stakeholders clearly and effectively
· Strong Program / Project management experience with deep knowledge of agile methodologies and process excellence
· Ability to work in large corporation in a global setting and highly matrixed environment
· Ability to manage and gain consensus from different stakeholder groups
· Has the ability to manage ambiguity and uncertainty by demonstrating adaptive mindset
· Ability to manage virtual teams
· Advanced storyboarding skills to develop executive-audience ready outputs to influence actions and outcomes
· Has hands-on experience developing advanced excel dashboards and power point outputs. Knowledge of other productivity and information design tools is an added advantage
· Proficiency in managing KPIs and operational data to design customized reporting meant for senior leadership based on the objective
· Experience in processing information to develop presentations that have compelling information design and logical structure is preferred skill
· Knowledge or exposure to best practices in process excellence or project management is an added advantage
