Human Resources Transformation
The HR Transformation team is a core component of our Human Capital practice – the work we do supports the five major issues our clients are facing. We collaborate with our clients to develop leading global HR strategies and support organizations in achieving excellence through implementing solutions that transform how they organize, develop capabilities, deploy leading technology, and deliver a leading employee experience.
Keeping the employee in mind, all our services cater to improving an organization’s productivity through their human capital asset. The client issues we work with range from the need for a comprehensive HR strategy to determining the need for new and enabling technologies, to streamlining HR operations and transforming the way HR is delivered.
Payroll and Workforce Management
The Payroll and Workforce Management team is a market offering within the HRT team that provides services for companies to assess and enhance their Payroll and Workforce Management operations. The offering is divided into sub-offerings: Advisory, Kronos and Infor specializing and operating in assessing, advising, designing, building, operationalizing and helping clients implement and streamline payroll and workforce management solutions.

Work You’ll Do
- Work closely with client’s project teams to understand their business needs and evaluate their current state
- Engage and interview client subject matter experts, facilitating global and local workshops, reviewing client-provided materials and documentation
- Identify requirement gaps and translate into specifications / recommendations that provide a clear picture of the solution on how it meets their needs
- Participate in requirement gathering and translate business needs into system design specification or solution
- Maintain familiarity with current payroll and workforce management vendor offerings and assist in vendor selection activities
- Design, develop, and document processes and procedures (global vs local) pertaining to the suggested future state roadmap
- Assist in compliance reviews & assessments and policy & process optimization for Payroll and WFM
- Coordinate, track and manage progress of all activities during all phases of the project as per project plan
- Report on dependencies, risks / issues, identifying change in scope (if any) and highlight concerns as met
- Develop and socialize testing and data conversion strategy with all key stakeholders in the project
- Support testing and data conversion activities in UAT, SIT/E2E, Parallel testing, SRT and Cut-over phases of the project which includes parallel testing variance analysis and reconciliation, creation of test cases, mining test data, executing test cases, transforming data and loading to future system and defect tracking (Testing could involve testing of processes / documentation / systems) for large-scale payroll, timekeeping and workforce application
- Perform troubleshooting activities and monitor the transactions daily and resolve any issues encountered
- Support deployment activities including involvement in end-to-end implementation, hyper care, go-live and post go-live related activities
- Demonstrate accountability and contribution to the successful realization of client goals and needs
Additional Responsibilities
- Collaborate with project teams and client stakeholders in a virtual environment to support project delivery
- Work independently, with minimal supervision to ensure the timely delivery of all project deliverables
- Gather information through research and conduct analysis to derive insights and develop client recommendations
- Act as liaison and subject matter expert with internal client organizations and peer technology partners on payroll and workforce applications
- Keep abreast with latest Payroll & WFM trends, global standards and industry best practices and benchmarks
- Coordinate communications and training as per requirement
- Assist in creation of content for RFP/RFI in the Payroll and HR Transformation space
- Contribute to practice building and other internal practice initiatives
Skill Requirement
- Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Master’s in human resource management is an added advantage
- Experience, knowledge and strong understanding of principles and leading practices in one or more of the Payroll and Workforce Management solutions including:
- Technology Advisory
- Global Strategy & Roadmap
- Operating Model & Organizational Design
- Parallel Testing and Reconciliation (manual or automated)
- Vendor Selection
- Shared Services
- Compliance Review & Assessments

- Future State Payroll Process Design
- Payroll Process Documentation
- Payroll operations/Payroll consulting/Global payroll pre-sales experience is desirable
- Experience demonstrated in HR Service Delivery, HR Transformation, HR Shared Services is preferred
- Implementation experience in payroll packages such as SAP, SF, Workday, Oracle Fusion, Peoplesoft, Lawson, Infor, Ultimate Software, Kronos
- Implementation/Advisory experience in Third Party payroll services such as ADP GlobalView, Ceridian Dayforce, NGA, Neeyamo etc.
- Payroll / WFM certification will be an added advantage
- In depth statutory compliance and tax knowledge of one or more countries with hands on experiences in statutory filings and payments
- Strong analytical/problem-solving ability
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work in teams and interact across all levels
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to deal with ambiguity, work pressure and learn quickly
- Proficiency in MS Office, specifically MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio
