Human Resources Transformation
The HR Transformation team is a core component of our Human Capital practice – the work we do supports the five major issues our clients are facing. We collaborate with our clients to develop leading global HR strategies and support organizations in achieving excellence through implementing solutions that transform how they organize, develop capabilities, deploy leading technology, and deliver a leading employee experience.
Keeping the employee in mind, all our services cater to improving an organization’s productivity through their human capital asset. The client issues we work with range from the need for a comprehensive HR strategy to determining the need for new and enabling technologies, to streamlining HR operations and transforming the way HR is delivered.
Work You’ll Do
As a Technical Solution Architect in the HR Transformation ServiceNow team, you will continue to use your hands-on technical development and understanding of ServiceNow HRSD functionality, architecture, configuration and integration technologies to ensure the successful delivery of world- class HR solutions to our clients.
You will work closely with the ServiceNow Delivery Managers, Functional / Technical Consultants to provide solution options for complex requirements, advise clients on options / impacts, conducts QA to ensure design is appropriate, ‘Connects the dots’ in the solution, drives strategy across the enterprise platform and advises teams on configuration solutions.

- Work on multiple assignments and prioritize tasks, proactively raise concerns/questions where appropriate for priority or engagement conflict resolution
- Interact with clients on a regular basis through face to face meetings, video/teleconferences
and email to understand client’s processes and business problems
- Collaborate and coordinate with Deloitte colleagues that are onsite at client location
- Identify industry best practices and implement them in engagements
Responsibilities:
- Manage the ServiceNow solution design for large complex projects
- Understand the business context and how to translate business and functional requirements into a sustainable ServiceNow implementation
- Work with program resources to define sustainment governance and processes as part of operational transition
- Provide insight and expertise into the ServiceNow platform capabilities and vendor product roadmap
- Provide the final technical escalation point for technical teams
- Develop new tools and approaches for ServiceNow development
- Review user stories and provide story points to size the user stories
- Document technical specifications, technical/architectural design documentation
- Advises client on options/ impacts
- Conducts QA to ensure design is appropriate
- Manage and lead the development workstream and developers
- Proactively identify, communicate, mitigate project risks and escalate, as needed
- Review technical requirements, advise on technical solution and provide resolution to development/technical issues
- Provide best practices for development
- Ability to do development work
- Lead environment readiness for Testing and Deployment
- Participate in writing proposals and SOWs
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent
- Minimum of 5+ years of ServiceNow implementation experience in large complex environments
- Experience leading development teams and applying agile/lean
- Experience in ServiceNow technical design, development and review, with the ability to provide insight, guidance and review at all levels from architecture to design and
- Experience with working in a dual-shore model, managing offshore teams and coordinating with onshore and client teams.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced and changing environment with short deadlines
- Must be self-directed and able to manage competing priorities and proactively communicate when conflicts arise
- Proficient in Agile development and all phases of the Application Development Lifecycle
- Strong technical project management and leadership skills
- Experience with software development support tools (e.g. Jira, Rally )
- Certifications
- ServiceNow System Administrator (CSA)
- HR Fundamentals (CIS-HR)
- HR Implementation
- Deep ServiceNow HR experience – from a configuration, as well as overall SN system architecture perspective
- Deep experience in configuration and development
- Strong leadership, communication and consulting skills
- Ability to drive strategy discussions
- Knowledge in HRT, HR Service Delivery
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree – MBA / MCA / Master’s in Software Engineering
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
- ITIL V3 Expert Certified
- Experience working with multiple technology platforms
- Big 4 consulting experience
