ServiceNow Developer - Technical
As a consultant, you’ll be responsible for understanding the requirements and translating them into technical artifacts. You’ll also liaise with senior team members to communicate the status and provide suggestions on technical solutions and change impact.

USI team with its technology and process skills expertise, experience & scale is an integral part of offering . USI team works through the lifecycle of these transformation programs.
Description
Required Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent
· Minimum of 4 years of ServiceNow implementation experience in large complex environments is required
· Minimum of 3 years of professional experience performing technology implementations is required
· Experience with data conversion and migration
· Advanced ServiceNow technical skill - UI Policies, UI Macros, UI Pages, Client Scripts, Script Includes, Business Rules, Mid Server Configuration & Architecture, ACL’s, Import Sets, Transform Maps and Update sets
· Knowledge and experience with JavaScript, PowerShell, JSON, REST and SOAP
· Knowledge and experience with integrations with middleware such as TIBCO, Kafka, MuleSoft, Dell Boomi etc.
· Must be self-directed and able to manage competing priorities and proactively communicate when conflicts arise
· Strong problem solving and analytical skills
· Proficient in Agile development and all phases of the Application Development Lifecycle
· Must be professional, well-spoken and able to interact with onsite teams and customers
· Experience with software development support tools (e.g. Jira, Rally etc.)
· Certified ServiceNow System Administrator (CSA)
Responsibilities:
• ServiceNow Developers with hands-on experience with ITSM
• And hands-on experience with one additional ServiceNow skill (ITBM/ITOM/HRSD/ITAM/DevOps/ Integrations/ Service Portal/Custom applications) is mandatory
• Participate in user story grooming session, elaboration, and design sessions
• Review user stories to understand requirements and technical architecture documentation for solution
• Develop integrations leveraging point-to-point interfaces, Web Services (REST / SOAP), file based transfers, etc.
• Develop integration design to support functional design including full documentation of methods, data transfers and error checking
• Configure the ServiceNow solution to meet identified business requirements, process guides and functional requirements
• Identify requirement “gaps” to maintain a high degree of quality in the solution build
• Provide configuration options to meet specific requirements identifying respective pros and cons for each option
• Ensure that ServiceNow standard practices are utilized for all configuration and customization
• Provide insight and expertise into the ServiceNow configuration based on previous work experiences and training
• Troubleshoot any errors found in the ServiceNow configuration
• Complete the deployment of solutions across sub-production and production environments
• Provide training for each tools functionality both in person and through using other methods
• Actively support the Program Team by acting as main focal point when queries arise around tool functionalities and capabilities; and
• Create the technical documentation, technical design documentation, build/configuration documentation and release notes
Preferred Qualifications:
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (any one or more areas e.g. ITSM, HRSD, CSM etc.)
• Master’s degree – MBA / MCA / Master’s in Software Engineering
