Position Summary

CFO Enterprise Strategy

Finance and Performance (F&P)

Location Gurugram, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Pune, Kolkata, Chennai

At Deloitte F&P, CFO Enterprise Strategy team, you will

·     Advise CFOs to unlock enterprise value, modernize the finance factory and optimize capital

·     Help develop aspirations for the client’s Finance organization, identify gaps that need addressing, the digital starting point, and help define the vision for future organization

·     Advise client executives to build next gen capabilities and kickstart digital transformation program

·     Assess client’s current state maturity, develop vision/strategy, compare with industry leading benchmarks to identify areas of opportunities, develop business case and design roadmap for execution

·     Leverage your analytical skills to process client data to develop insights and recommendations

·     Help client identify and prioritize where and when to invest in the finance’s infrastructure assets

to create organizational value and drive business performance

·     Conduct client interviews, participate in workshops and training sessions,and present recommendations to client stakeholders

·     Support delivery of Deloitte Finance Labs, to help clients design their short term and long term vision for Finance function

·     Liaison with key client stakeholders to develop quality outputs, deliverables and artifacts

·     Design and develop tools, NextGen capabilities (including GenAI) and Delivery Transformation assets and leverage them to deliver client engagements in improved margins

·     Analyze and interpret project data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations

·     Drive client engagements through the following activities:

-    Own and manage specific workthreads

-    Develop plans and roadmaps for assigned components of the engagements

-    Coordinate activities between different workthreads

-    Proactively identify any scope change, risk or issue and remediate accordingly

-    Manage and mentor new team members

-    Develop and maintain strong working relationships with client counterparts

The team

Deloitte’s ‘Finance & Performance (F&P)’ practice works as a trusted advisor to CFOs, COOs, CIOs, and key executives. We advise, implement, and deliver as-a-service solutions, helping our clients develop strategies and capabilities to support enterprise-wide decision-making, elevate the finance function with digital capabilities and create impact within their organization

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with strong communication skills, ability to work with teams, navigate steep learning curve, and demonstrate management consulting skills to be part of the CFO Enterprise Value talent group.

Required Qualifications

·     MBA / MS / CA from a leading school in India or abroad

·     3-6 years of hands-on relevant experience post MBA

·     3-7 years of hands-on relevant experience post MS / CA

Preferred Experience

·     Hands-on experience as any of the following:

-  Worked at the CFO organizations at leading multinationals and help develop vision and strategy


for the Finance organization

-  Led Finance transformation projects across people, process, data and technology

-  Conducted current state maturity and benchmarking of finance function and developed initiatives and roadmap for transformation

-  Supported strategy design and execution of large-scale transformation projects

·     Fair understanding of the finance processes and strategies to drive strategic improvements in areas of Order-to-Cash,Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay, Financial Planning & Analysis, etc.

·     Analytical and Hypothesis driven problem-solving approach, process and operations analysis, processing, and analysis of large financial and non-financial data sets

·     Exposure to working in non-India Geographies (preferably the US) and/ or interacting with Global stakeholders

·     Functional understanding of financial applications/tools such as Oracle,Hyperion, SAP, Anaplan, etc. is preferable and latest digital technologies such as Robotic Automation, GenAI, Predictive Analytics etc. and their applications in business and Finance

·     Project management experience (either leading or supporting)
