Position Summary

Job Description for Oracle Account Reconciliation Cloud Service (ARCS)

Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced individual to join our organization as an Oracle Account Reconciliation Cloud Service (ARCS) Consultant. In this role, you will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, and ongoing support of ARCS for our clients.

You will gather requirements, plan delivery, assess risks, and ensure the quality of deliverables. You will work independently with technical/functional direction from leads and collaborate effectively with global teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ARCS Implementation:
    • Participate in the end-to-end implementation of Oracle ARCS, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, and testing.
    • Configure and customize the ARCS application to meet clients' specific reconciliation requirements, ensuring alignment with best practices and industry standards
    • Understand the financial close cycle, account reconciliation, and related best practices.
    • Focus on technical delivery and ensure the quality of deliverables.
    • Identify and escalate issues associated with deliverables in a timely manner.
    • Understand issues raised by leads/onsite teams and their impact on your work.
  • Integration and Data Management:
    • Integrate ARCS with various source systems (GL) such as Oracle Cloud ERP, subledger sources (AR, AP, FA), Bank Statements, etc.
    • Manage data integration for Transaction Matching sources.
  • Automation and Reporting:
    • Analyze existing reconciliation processes and identify opportunities to streamline and automate them using Oracle ARCS functionalities
    • Develop automation scripts using EPM Automate / REST APIs.
    • Create consolidated financial statements for customers.
  • Project Management:
    • Understand project plans, timelines, and deliver regular status reports.
    • Manage risk and issue logs, ensuring timely delivery of activities and tasks.

Qualifications Required:

  • 3-6 years of hands-on experience in implementing Oracle Account Reconciliation Cloud Service (ARCS) solutions.
  • Expertise in designing formats, creating profiles, reconciliation rules, workflows, and system settings in the Compliance module.
  • Experience in building Transaction Matching Match Types, including data sources, rules, filters, journal mapping, and transaction types.
  • Integration experience with source systems (Oracle Cloud ERP, Bank Statements) and subledger sources (AR, AP, FA).
  • Experience in developing automation scripts using EPM Automate / REST APIs.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with clients.
