CORE BUSINESS OPERATIONS 

The Core Business Operations (CBO) portfolio is an integrated set of offerings that addresses our clients’ heart-of-the-business issues. This portfolio combines our functional and technical capabilities to help clients transform, modernize, and run their existing technology platforms across industries. As our clients navigate dynamic and disruptive markets, these solutions are designed to help them drive product and service innovation, improve financial performance, accelerate speed to market, and operate their platforms to innovate continuously. 

ROLE 

Level: Consultant 

As a Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, you will be responsible for individually delivering high quality work products within due timelines in an agile framework. Need-basis consultants will be mentoring and/or directing junior team members/liaising with onsite/offshore teams to understand the functional requirements.   

  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, SQL.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD concepts and experience with implementing / modifying pipelines using tools like Jenkins, AWS Code pipeline.
  • Experience in ETL Architecture and build ETL pipelines using AWS AWS/Azure/GCP.
  • Experience in writing Automated Python scripts to Integrate and curate multiple data sources.
  • Database Expertise: Excellent querying skills (SQL) and strong understanding of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL). Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB) is a plus.
  • Core Programming: Excellent command of a primary data engineering language (Python ,Pyspark) with a strong foundation in OOPS and functional programming concepts.
  • Experience in performance optimization and creating scalable and modular code base.
  • Hands on Experience and Knowledge in AWS Services such as, Lambda, S3, Glue, Athena, API Gateway, Cloud Watch, EMR.
  • Hands on Experience and Knowledge in REST API GET, POST, PUT, DELETE and exposing API via AWS and event driven programming.
  • Ability to Use AWS BOTO3 package using python, AWS CLI and SDK to manage AWS components programmatically.
  • Knowledge in python packages such as NumPy, pandas, matplotlib.
  • Knowledge in GIT, writing tests using pytest.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have Skills:

  • Knowledge of AWS security best practices, including encryption, access control and compliance.
  • Knowledge of implementing and maintaining high availability and fault-tolerant systems on AWS.
  • Knowledge of implementing IAM, EC2,ECS, SNS, SQS Not mandatory

Educational Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited university with strong academic record. 
  • MHA/B.E./B.Tech. /MCA/MSc/MTech/MBA or any medical background.

Project Skills:

  • Adhere to company Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) standards and Agile development approach.
  • Research, evaluate and identify alternative solutions and recommendations for the most efficient and cost-effective application programming solutions.
  • Communicate and collaborate with business analysts, technical developers, and architects on business requirements for new processes as well as enhancements to existing solutions.
  • Interact with onsite clients, coordinator / scrum master, analyst and offshore development, testing, support team and other cross-functional teams.
  • Provide detailed reviews on deliverables, technical guidance to team members and conduct code reviews as needed.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and provide on-going support for the project.
