CORE BUSINESS OPERATIONS 

The Core Business Operations (CBO) portfolio is an integrated set of offerings that addresses our clients’ heart-of-the-business issues. ROLE 
 
Level: Senior Consultant/Specialist Senior  
As a Senior Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, you will be responsible for review, modify and lead the team to build and operate highly scalable client environments on cloud or Hybrid cloud or on premises within HCMS framework. Hands on experience on end-to-end management of Red Hat and other flavors of Linux servers in environments deployed globally across infrastructure environments like VMware, AWS, Azure and GCP 
The work you will do includes:  
 
• Lead and drive discussions with business and functional analysts to understand the business requirements and the impact of integration on the overall business architecture  
• Establish technical design/development guides, templates and standards and ensure compliance 
• Run the daily calls / meetings with respect to deliverables and build the weekly status reports to be reviewed with leadership/client 
• Perform detailed reviews on deliverables and provide technical guidance to the team members 
• Understand the complete SOW and adhere to the responsibilities mentioned in it 
• Review, prepare and lead the teams to deploy/build the infrastructure as per requirement  
• Design and implementation of shared responsibility model On-premise, Cloud 
• Adhering to ITSM/ITIL best practices and following Change management procedures 
• Escalation points of contact and Responsible for root cause analysis 
• Work with Architect team for standardization and optimization 
• Create and manage build and release checklists 
• Participate in security audits 
• Participate actively on RFPs, pricing, and other functional requirements 
• Identify routine, repetitive, time-consuming tasks and prepare solutions to automate them 
• Design cost effective, standardized, and optimized solutions as required 
• Identify the Gaps in process, technology, communication etc and drive to fix it 
• Provide training on new tools/services to the team and junior resources 
 
Skills / Project Experience:
 
Must Have: 
 
• 6 – 10 years of hands-on experience in Red Hat 6/7/8 in Physical, Virtual and Cloud Environment 
• In-depth knowledge and experience on Red Hat Linux OS, Performance tuning, Multipathing concepts 
• In-depth analysis on troubleshooting and providing RCA on critical issues 
• In-depth knowledge and experience on Bash Scripting, Ansible Automation 
• Good Knowledge on containerization concepts and tools Docker, Kubernetes 
• In-depth knowledge and experience on Migration and In Place Upgrade of Red Hat Servers 
• Professional level certification on Red Hat & any other cloud certification 
• ITIL Foundational or intermediate level certification 
• Ability to perform estimation of work products and cost analysis 
• Knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Office tools 
Good to Have: 
 
• Good Knowledge on cloud platforms and IAC tools like Terraform, AWS CloudFormation 
• Good Knowledge on DevOps process and tools like Jenkins/Bitbucket/Azure DevOps 
• Experience in risk analysis, cost estimation, standardization, optimization etc. 
• Experience in participation of different types of audits 
• Experience in both on premises and Cloud technologies 
 
Education:   
B.E./B. Tech/M.C.A./M.Sc (CS) degree or equivalent from accredited university  
  
Prior Experience:   
6 - 10 years of experience working with Red Hat Linux Servers, Ansible, Virtual & Cloud environments
