ROLE
Level: Analyst/Consultant
As an Analyst or Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, you will be responsible for individually delivering high quality work products within due timelines in an agile framework. Need-basis consultants will be mentoring and/or directing junior team members/liaising with onsite/offshore teams to understand the functional requirements.
You will also be responsible for the ownership of tasks assigned through SNOW, Dashboard, Order forms etc.
The work you will do includes:
• Manage Host Storage/ VMs/ Clusters / Upgrade Virtual Center
• Build and install computer infrastructure, which encompasses hardware, servers, and virtual machines, using a VMware environment such as vSphere
• Monitor all system alerts and assist to resolve complex issues in system hardware and software.
• VMware Administrators must create and maintain documentation for all system-related processes and procedures they are responsible for, including project requirements, changes and upgrades, implementation plans, and support tickets
• Administer efficient work of VM’s and provide support to everyday operations
• VMware administrators to monitor client systems daily and pinpoint problem areas.
• Proactively install upgrades, releases, and application patches
• VM Troubleshooting and Support for VDIs as view Administrators
• User Support for VDI Issues
• Identify, Analyze, and automate routine tasks
• Develop understanding of SLA, SLO, SOW etc.
• Coordinate with multiple teams to serve the request or resolve the incidents
• Implementation of High Availability, update management, Disaster recovery, Backup and Restore
• Documentation, Weekly/Bi-Weekly Deck preparation, KB article update
• Train and Knowledge transfer to junior resources
• Handover and On call support during weekends on rotational basis
QUALIFICATIONS
Skills / Project Experience:
Must Have:
• 2 - 6 years of hands-on experience in System administration support experience in WINDOWS production environments with strong hands-on experience in Troubleshooting, Patching, and general tasks
• Build and install computer infrastructure, which encompasses hardware, servers, and virtual machines, using a VMware environment such as vSphere
• Monitor all system alerts and assist to resolve complex issues in system hardware and software.

• Responsible for designing, implementing and monitoring the infrastructure, Build the Linux machines in VM physical server or cloud servers.
• Hands on experience RHEL5 6 7 user folder permission domain addition
• Network storage configuration
• Proactively maintain and develop all Linux infrastructure technology to maintain a service
• Experience on all monitoring tools install and configuring
• Provide input on ways to improve the stability security efficiency and scalability of the environment
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Flexibility to adapt and apply innovation to varied business domain and apply technical solutioning and learnings to use cases across business domains and industries
• Knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Office tools
Good to Have:
• Windows Server NT Server 2000 2003 2008 2012 Build and Administration
• Vmware ESX VSphere Build and Administration
• Install Configure Manage VMware ESXi Infrastructure and Vcenter Server
• Manage Updates for Hosts and VMware tools for VM s via Update Manager Plug in Configure and Manage HA DRS Resource Pools clusters
• Manage Backups and Restore along with understanding of VMware Snapshots
• Configure and Manage Monitoring Alerts with respect to VMware Hypervisors and VM’s
• Perform Capacity and Performance reports for Cluster Hosts Storage VM’s etc
• Daily Health checks and Performance of the VMware infrastructure
• Understanding of Application and other infrastructure monitoring tools
• Understanding of end-to-end infrastructure landscape
• Experience on virtualization platform
• Knowledge on < Specify tools related to infrastructure automation>
• Knowledge on <Specify the technologies related to on premises and Cloud>
• Knowledge on < Specific scripting or programing tool>
Education:
B.E./B. Tech/M.C.A./M.Sc (CS) degree or equivalent from accredited university
• Microsoft Certification
• VMWare Certifited Associate/VMWAre Certified Professional
Prior Experience:
3 – 6 years of experience with hands-on experience in System administration support experience in WINDOWS production environments with strong hands-on experience in Troubleshooting, Patching, and general tasks
