Core Business Operations (CBO) is an integrated set of offerings that addresses our clients' core business issues. CBO provides a gamut of consulting services spanning advisory, implementation and operations. CBO practitioners help our clients transform, modernize, and run their existing technology platforms right from process design to implementation and finally ensuring roll-out transition.
CBO has four different offerings — Systems Engineering focused on design, delivery and support of large scale software applications and integrated systems; Cloud Engineering focused on end-to-end cloud services from migration strategy into transformation and cloud operations; Sector Packages focused on industry vertical, sector specific solutions that drive operational change and automate the core of the business; and Operations Transformation focused on creating a flexible, innovative business model for clients supported by a strong operations foundation. CBO serves clients across Life Sciences and Health Care, Government & Public Services and Financial Services among other industries.
CONSULTANT
As a Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, you will be responsible for designing, developing and deploying large scale complex software solutions at an enterprise level. These applications are often high-volume mission critical systems and would provide you an exposure to a broad range of technologies across all layers of architecture in the Exchange Admin technology stack. You will work with functional and technical teams on the project located across shores. You will need to understand technical requirements and should be able to communicate the same effectively to the team members.
Work you’ll do
• Making sure that the incidents get resolved with the SLAs and ensure that the system goes through a scheduled patching process.
• Support various Operating systems and in installing applications on those operating systems depending upon its compatibility.
• Manage the development in the servers and implement new services and functionality.
• Maintain the production, by running a software and hardware diagnostic regularly in a stipulated time.
• Keep a check on the software versions which are installed in the operating systems.
• Responsible for providing support to any queries which arise.
• Monitor each part of the operating system like checking the disk space at regular intervals, checking the software versions.
• Run the diagnostics on the services which are essential for a server to run.
• Making sure that the incidents get resolved with the SLAs and ensure that the system goes through a scheduled patching process.
• Manage file sharing permissions to monitor mailbox quotas/space and to check where the email has stuck and made sure that the email reaches its destination.
The team
CBO practitioners work on design, delivery, and support of a variety of solutions that help our clients meet business objectives. These solutions range from large scale ground-up custom developed applications, to cloud based development and integration services as well as customizing industry sector focused packages. As an Exchange admin capability hire on this team, you would get opportunities to work on all adjacent area technologies such as cloud-based service.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
B.E. / B.Tech / M.C.A. / M.Sc (CS)
Prior Experience:
4 to 6 years of Windows OS (client/server) management, handling of networks, Active directory, Identity and access management and Microsoft365 suite of applications.
Skills / Project Experience - required:
• Possess background in providing advanced technical support for Windows workstations, servers, and enterprise applications
• Working knowledge of managing Azure Active Directory, ability to identify and resolve sync issues. Good knowledge of ADFS, Azure AD Connect. Knowledge on Azure AD features like application proxy, MFA, SSO, SSPR.
• Deep knowledge of Microsoft365 services/products including Outlook, Exchange Online, SharePoint online and OneDrive for business Administration.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server OS, Active Directory, IIS, SQL operation and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of SCCM deployment. System Center Virtual Machine Manager (network virtualization, service templates). System Center Operations Manager (MP tuning, reports, dashboards, APM)
• Extensive experience and skill in the use of PowerShell to report on and manage M365 services
• Understanding of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SSL, TLS.
• Understanding of High Availability architecture (Load Balancing, Distribution, Failover, Replication)
• Have greater knowledge of server infrastructure and components (DELL / HP / Fujitsu), high level of SAN fundamentals.
• Good understanding of Network and OS clustering, load balancing. System / services hardening (Auditing, Logging)
• Patch Management - Microsoft & 3rd Party
• Skype for Business and MS Teams administration, troubleshooting and support experience or knowledge of other Microsoft technologies such as Cloud PBX/PSTN.
• Device enrollment and troubleshooting issues related to MDM application on mobile devices and knowledge of leading MDM products such as Microsoft Intune, MobileIron, Xen Mobile, Cisco Meraki
• Knowledge and experience handling Email security gateway application such as Exchange Online Protection, Proofpoint, Barracuda, etc.
• Taking part in Team’s performance, which includes meeting SLA’s, quality and CSAT scores, bottom quartile management, performance improvement etc.
Skills / Project Experience - good to have knowledge on:
• SharePoint Online – Managing of Team sites, group sites
• Managing Microsoft Teams – MS 700 certification will be preferred
• Azure Information protection, Microsoft Defender for Identity (formerly Azure Advanced Threat Protection, also known as Azure ATP)
• Exchange and SharePoint integration with MS Teams
