ROLE
Level: Consultant
As an Analyst or Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, you will be responsible for individually delivering high quality work products within due timelines in an agile framework. Need-basis consultants will be mentoring and/or directing junior team members/liaising with onsite/offshore teams to understand the functional requirements.
Role of the Citrix farm administration is to perform both technical and coordination role in the solution construct, troubleshooting, planning , implementation and managing complete Citrix Environment and should assist in high quality delivery to clients in response to specific requests and also need to maintain the responsibility to develop technical skills and absorb professional knowledge to quicky meet the business requirements.
You will also be responsible for the ownership of tasks assigned through SNOW, Dashboard, Order forms etc.
The work you will do includes:
Operate the client infrastructure (Citrix 6.x, 7.x, CVAD 1912 LTSR, CVAD 2306 LTSR, Citrix DAAS)
Monitor the Citrix Infra through Director, managing Citrix XenApp application on the Citrix farm servers and Managing VDI environment.
Main responsibility is Level 1/ Level 2 support for Citrix Platform which can include networking, applications, the database, storage, active directory, DHCP, DNS, Windows OS etc.,
Implement and maintain new golden images based on new customers or Conversion efforts.
Develop understanding of and implement shared responsibility model (On premises, Cloud )
Implementation of ITIL Framework to solve Incidents, Requests and problems related to Citrix platform
Checking and controlling the server, and offering solutions to its problems.
Work on Monitoring, Backup, Patching, Vulnerability Remediation
Working with Sr Engineers and Architects to improve and adjust the virtual desktop system Identity and access management
Taking part in upgrading and updating the system’s applications, installing, and testing applications and updates.
Develop understanding of SLA, SLO, SOW etc.
Coordinate with multiple teams to serve the request or resolve the incidents
Providing technical assistance for all the users, desktops and services that use the virtualization platform
Maintaining and examining the Documentation of Virtual Desktop Infrastructure.
Creating new VDI builds based on customer requirements, as well as participate in converting existing traditional builds to a virtualization approach.
Experience in patching the windows environments to meet security.
Monitoring the Health check of Citrix VDI machines and servers and Citrix studio and director.
QUALIFICATIONS
Skills / Project Experience:
Must Have:
2 - 5 years of hands-on experience in Citrix 6.x or 7.x or CVAD 1912 LTSR OR CVAD 2306 LTSR)
Experience in managing Citrix components
Experience on Citrix, Vmware/ Hyper-v, SCVMM/ Azure/aws, Windows
Experience on monitoring tool “Citrix Director, Citrix edgesite”
Associate/Professional level certification on “Citrix CCA”
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Flexibility to adapt and apply innovation to varied business domain and apply technical solutioning and learnings to use cases across business domains and industries
Knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Office tools
Good to Have:
Understanding of Application and VDI infrastructure monitoring tools
Understanding of end-to-end infrastructure landscape
Experience on virtualization platform
Knowledge on HPSA, SCVMM, PVS, MCS
Education:
B.E./B. Tech/M.C.A./M.Sc (CS) degree or equivalent from accredited university
Prior Experience:
2 – 6 years of experience working with Citrix Administrator
