Level: Consultant

As a Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, you will be responsible for individually delivering high quality work product within due timelines in agile framework. On requirement basis consultants will be mentoring and/or directing junior team members/liaising with onsite/offshore teams to understand the functional requirements.

 

The work you will do includes:

 

• Develop software solutions using industry standard delivery methodologies like Agile, Waterfall across different architectural patterns

• Develop expertise in end-to-end construction cycle starting from Design (low level and high level), coding, unit testing, deployment and defect fixing along with coordinating with multiple stakeholders

• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code maintaining industry and client standards ensuring code quality and code coverage adherence

• Generate design document and formulate non-functional requirements

• Perform independent code reviews and execute unit tests on integration modules developed by self and other junior team members on the project

• Ability to quickly learn and deliver on analogous technologies with limited or no prior experience

• Good interpersonal and communication skills

QUALIFICATIONS

Skills / Project Experience: 4 to 6 years of experience as Integration Developer using webMethods and integration technologies.

 

Must Have: 

• Strong conceptual knowledge of: webMethods architecture and runtime for versions 9.x and 10.x and Integration technologies.

• • Knowledge of Integration concepts, security and various protocols HTTPs, SOAP, Rest, SFTP, MQ, JMS and familiarity with ESB, SOA.

• • Experience in working on wM Integration Server, scheduler and configuration.

• • Strong Experience in developing Flow services, file handling and error handling.

• • Experience on e-standards such as EDI, EDIINT, papiNET, SWIFT, HL7, HIPAA, FIX, and RosettaNet etc.

• • Experience on implementation of wM Adapters like JDBC, SAP, Salesforce and others.

• • Experience of working in Universal Messaging, triggers, queues, topic etc.

• • Knowledge on webMethods BPM and development of workflow/process models, handling of tasks, correlation.

• • Experience in B2B implementations and working with wMTN package, MWS setup for partner configuration etc.

• • Hands on experience in developing common components like Error Handling and Logging framework.

• • Extensive Experience in a Scrum/Agile SDLC.

• • Ability to write build/configuration scripts using build tools (Ant, Maven and scripting) and code configuration tools (Subversion, Github, Perforce etc.)

• • Ability to drive and do Unit Testing, Debugging, End-to-End and Integration testing.

• • Knowledge of integration patterns, ESB, SOA design principles, API Development, standards, guidelines, and best practices.

• • Ability to communicate clearly across teams in the project

• Skills / Project Experience - good to have:

• • Industry recognized Technology Certifications.

• • Experience on other Integration Tools/Products.

• • Experience of working at Client/Onsite.

• 3 - 6 years of hands-on experience in <mention technologies and architecture> 

• Experience in event handling and content-based routing, message transformation and message mediation

• Extensive experience and knowledge of XML Technologies (XML, DTD, XSLT transformations, XSD and Style sheet etc.)

• Considerable experience in SOAP and REST webservices and utilizing the APIs

• Understanding of Canonical message modeling, build based on TDD, Integration specialization

• Exposure to analysis design and development of high-level architecture of the application

• Experience in unit testing the applications using SOAP-UI/Postman

• Experience in <mention process and coding quality/standard tools, unit testing tools, and best practices>.

• Experience in <specify the databases, ORMs, database tools etc>

• Experience in <specify delivery methodologies- Agile, waterfall and related tools>

• Experience in <specify version control, deployment, logging frameworks etc>

• Ability to perform estimation of work products

• Good interpersonal and communication skills

• Flexibility to adapt and apply innovation to varied business domain and apply technical solutioning and learnings to use cases across business domains and industries

• Knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Office tools

 

Good to Have: 

•

• Understanding of <additional skills like containerization, container management tools>

• Experience in <app performance monitoring/log aggregation tools if applicable>

• Experience with <cloud platforms if appliable>

• Experience in test support for System Intergration Testing and E2E Testing.

• Experience in <additional technical skills as relevant>

Education:  

B.E./B. Tech/M.C.A./M.Sc (CS) degree or equivalent from accredited university    

 

Prior Experience:  

3 – 6 years of experience working with Webmethods
