CORE BUSINESS OPERATIONS

The Core Business Operations (CBO) portfolio is an integrated set of offerings that addresses our clients’ heart-of-the-business issues. This portfolio combines our functional and technical capabilities to help clients transform, modernize, and run their existing technology platforms across industries. As our clients navigate dynamic and disruptive markets, these solutions are designed to help them drive product and service innovation, improve financial performance, accelerate speed to market, and operate their platforms to innovate continuously.

ROLE

Level: Analyst/Consultant

As an Analyst or Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, you will be responsible for individually delivering high quality work products within due timelines in an agile framework. Need-basis consultants will be mentoring and/or directing junior team members/liaising with onsite/offshore teams to understand the functional requirements.

You will also be responsible for the ownership of tasks assigned through SNOW, Dashboard, Order forms etc.

The work you will do includes:

• PaaS Services Management : Setup , configure and monitor Oracle PaaS Services such as OIC, Autonomous database, ODI , FDI and others.

• Infrastructure as a Code (IaC): Develop and maintain automation of resource provisioning , management and scaling using modular terraform scripts etc

• Monitoring and Maintenance : Performance monitoring of PaaS services, implement backups , patching and security updates to ensure a stable and secure environment. Optimize the cloud resources for cost efficiency

• Logging Configuration: Configure OCI logging services to collect and analyze logs from OCI PaaS resources. Implement log retention policies and filtering for effective log management.

• SEAM (Security Event and Management) : Configure and manage security and operational events and ingest them with SIEM tools to detect security threats and anomalies.

• Disaster Recovery : Design and implement disaster recovery strategies for PaaS deployments. Configure failover mechanism and conduct DR drill.

• Collaboration: Collaboration with Integration team to ensure seamless integration and troubleshoot any issues related to the PaaS services.

• Documentation : Create detailed documentation for PaaS deployments, configuration (OCI PaaS & OCI PaaS DR playbooks)

• Build and operate the client infrastructure <Specify the technology on cloud or on premises>

• Build and operation automations through <Specify the tool or scripting platform>

• Develop understanding of and implement shared responsibility model <On premises, IaaS, PaaS and SaaS>

• Implementation of ITIL Framework <Incidents, Changes, requests etc>

• Analyze the requirement from Architect, SME, Client, Application team etc.

• Work on Monitoring, Backup, Patching, Vulnerability Remediation

• Troubleshooting issues pertaining to < Specify the technology>

• Monitor the client infrastructure

• Identity and access management

• Identify, Analyze, and automate routine tasks

• Develop understanding of SLA, SLO, SOW etc.

• Coordinate with multiple teams to serve the request or resolve the incidents

• Implementation of High Availability, update management, Disaster recovery, Backup and Restore

• Documentation, Weekly/Bi-Weekly Deck preparation, KB article update

• Train and Knowledge transfer to junior resources

• Handover and On call support during weekends on rotational basis

QUALIFICATIONS

Skills / Project Experience:

Must Have:

• 3 - 6 years of hands-on experience in <OCI PaaS Administration – Components like OIC, Autonomous database, ODI , FAW , IaC , OCI logging and monitoring>

• Understanding of 2 tier, 3 tier or multi-tier architecture

• Experience in managing Data Center components

• Experience on <Specify the technologies related to on premises and Cloud>

• Experience on < Specify tools related to infrastructure automation>

• Experience on monitoring tool < Specify the monitoring tool>

• Experience on < Specific scripting or programing tool or other tools>

• Associate/Professional level certification on < Specify the technology >

• ITIL Foundational certification

• Good interpersonal and communication skills

• Flexibility to adapt and apply innovation to varied business domain and apply technical solutioning and learnings to use cases across business domains and industries

• Knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Office tools

Good to Have:

• Understanding of Application and other infrastructure monitoring tools

• Understanding of end-to-end infrastructure landscape

• Experience on virtualization platform

• Knowledge on < Specify tools related to infrastructure automation>

• ledge on <Specify the technologies related to on premises and Cloud>

• Knowledge on < Specific scripting or programing tool>

Education:

B.E./B. Tech/M.C.A./M.Sc (CS) degree or equivalent from accredited university   

Prior Experience:

3 – 6 years of experience working with OCI Foundation , Infrastructure and PaaS services
