UX/UI Design Consultant

The work you will do?
As a design consultant you will be working very closely with the cross functional teams to come up with design solutions for the problem at hand. Your key responsibilities will include but not limited to:
· Well versed with UX strategy, concepts and customer psychology
· Conduct concept and usability testing and gather feedback
· Create personas through user research and data
· Define the design system and evaluate its success
· Develop wireframes and prototypes around customer needs
· Communicate design ideas and prototypes to developers
· Keep yourself updated with competitor products and industry trends
· Understand current state, its pain points and have an approach to address the pain points
· Deliver on work items in form of requests/tickets/incidents under strict SLA’s
- , translate users pain points and research findings into impactful design solutions.
- Collaborate with multiple project stakeholders, including product managers, engineers, and other designers in drafting and brainstorming initial concepts.
- Should be able to assess the impact on designs caused by changes in requirements/enhancements/remediation of existing issue.
- Possess an in-depth understanding of the fundamentals of visual design in terms of typography, colour, layout and apply them to translate wireframes to compelling visuals.
- Take a user-centred design approach with a focus on making your designs accessible for all users.
- Stay curious about the new developments in design and technology and share your experiences with the studio community during our chit-chat sessions.
What you will need?
● Showcase ability to quickly understand what’s existing and work on top of it
● Deliver across or/and any models of business from Advise, Implement and Operate
● At least 3 years of hands on experience working on digital products, additional perks if you have worked on B2B products.
● Portfolio showcasing your proficiency in translating research insights into great product experiences, reflecting the synthesis of good visual and interaction design principles.
- Well-versed in using design and prototyping tools (Sketch, Figma, inVISION, Principle, Adobe Suite) to create top notch products and deliverables.
- In-depth knowledge of native behavior of iOS, android design patterns and responsive web design standards. Cherry on top if you have prior experience in creating micro-interactions and animations.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills to clearly articulate your ideas with stakeholders.
· Effective at managing your time and maintain quality of deliverables.
· Experience working with cross functional teams effectively and provide (and accept) constructive design feedback.
