Job Title: Splunk Developer

Job Overview: The Salesforce Splunk Developer will be responsible for developing dashboards and reports on top of Splunk platform using Salesforce datastream. This role will focus on creating, enhancing and customizing Splunk dashboards to support various business processes by implementing required alerts, ensuring seamless integration with other systems(like ServiceNow), and optimizing all the queries that enhance the overall performance of the Splunk Dashboards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and create custom dashboards/reports on the Splunk.
2. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
3. Implement various Splunk OOB features and make features robust.
4. Proficient in Salesforce development language.
5. Develop and maintain custom objects, fields, formulas, validation rules, workflows, process builder, and other Salesforce components needed to support reports.
6. Integrate Splunk with other internal and external systems using middleware/interfaces/plugins.
7. Perform data streaming, data cleansing, and ensure data integrity of Salesforce data on Splunk environment.
8. Provide ongoing support and maintenance for the Splunk platform, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
9. Stay updated with the latest Salesforce releases on reporting and features, and proactively recommend enhancements on the Splunk Dashboards.
10. Create and maintain technical documentation, including system architecture, configuration, and user guides.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
2. Splunk Core Certified Power User is a must.
3. Splunk Core Certified Advanced Power User is preferred.
4. Minimum 1 years of experience as a Salesforce developer, followed by 2 years of experience in dashboard creation on Splunk using Salesforce data/stream.
5. Proficient in Salesforce development languages.
6. Experienced with Splunk integration tools/APIs/addons/plugins.
7. Know the basic of how data gets ingested via Splunk add-ons.
8. Strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
9. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills:

1. Basic understanding about Salesforce Platform( any Cloud will work, like Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud or Commerce Cloud).
2. Experience with Splunk add-ons and integration with different systems(like ServiceNow, PowerBI, etc).
3. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
