Job Title: Partner Marketing Manager – Senior Associate Location: Hyderabad/ Chennai Experience: 4-6 years About the role As a Senior Associate in Partner Marketing for Google Cloud, you will support the planning and execution of joint marketing initiatives with key partners. You’ll collaborate with partner teams, marketing managers, and sales stakeholders to build awareness, support lead generation, and enable partner success through co-branded campaigns, events, and digital programs. Key Result Areas • Accountable for the overall regional partner marketing strategy and performance, including partner/indirect related targets and planning for various segments (e.g., SMB, enterprise). o Engage with key stakeholders to define the partner marketing plan. o Set the strategy to achieve regional and local partner marketing targets across all partner archetypes (i.e., build, service, and re-sell), including RSI/GSI, ISV, Telco, etc. o Tailor the strategy by continuously assessing customer behavior trends, buying patterns, and demographics to drive more effective targeting and improve the ROI of partner marketing efforts across segments. o Drive and manage the inclusion of partners in key direct marketing activities (e.g., events), in close collaboration with Local Event and/or Field Marketers. o Monitor partners’ performance and resulting Cloud ROI on an ongoing basis. o Optimize program engagement and investment levels with partners to drive momentum and onboard new partners. • Execute strategies and plans for partner incentive programs (MDF, PPF, COOP), enabling co-marketing activities across campaigns, events, co-branding, and go-to-market motions to grow both the Cloud partner ecosystem and market share. • Operate across the regional matrix to co-lead field partner marketers (along with Market Leads) on the execution of co-marketing and go-to-market activities. • Nurture relationships with existing partners and coordinate across partner-led, through-partner, and to-partner motions. • Tracking budget needs, budget utilization/claims, and ROI, execute a partner engagement plan with partner’s marketing teams to track the execution of initiatives and drive clarity in communications. • Innovate with Global Partner Marketing to align on strategies, goals, and priorities and incorporate global programs into regional plans. • Collaborate with the Head of Region to align on regional priorities and enhance the growth of partnership marketing strategies (affiliate marketing, sponsorships, white labeling, etc.). • Coordinate with Partner Sales on key goals and priorities to align strategies. Ker Result Areas: • Partner Marketing Program Development and Management: handles portfolio of partner marketing programs aimed at specific regional needs and objectives. Track and measure the performance of partner marketing programs, identify areas for improvement and optimization, analyze partner data to gain insights into partner engagement, lead generation, and revenue contribution. • Strategic Marketing Expertise: executes regional marketing plans aligned with company goals and involving RSIs, GSI, and Telco Partners. Studies and analysis market trends, competitive landscapes, and partner capabilities. Create and manage effective marketing campaigns for lead generation and revenue growth. Evaluate valuate marketing performance to optimize strategies and maximize ROI. • Partnership Management Skills: Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with diverse partners; Understand partner needs and objectives to align marketing effort. Ensures collaboration and communication between partners, internal teams, and stakeholders. Manages partner programs effectively to ensure mutual benefits (MDF, PPF, COOP). • Regional Market Understanding: Understands and helps in making inform partner selection, define engagement strategies, and market expansion plans. knowledge of regional market conditions, customer preferences, and competitive dynamics. Executes marketing strategies and campaigns to resonate with local audiences. • Marketing Tools and Technical Proficiency: at ease with working on marketing automation, analytics, and CRM systems; Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media, CMS, and email marketing software; Ability to leverage technology to streamline partner processes; Stay up to date with emerging marketing trends and technologies. Qualifications & soft skills • 4–6 years of experience in B2B marketing, preferably in partner/channel marketing, digital campaigns, or demand generation. • Exposure to or experience with Google Cloud or cloud ecosystem marketing. • Experience with executing or supporting integrated marketing campaigns (Digital, ABM, email, events). • Familiarity with tools like Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo, or similar CRM/automation platforms. • Comfortable working with campaign metrics, dashboards, and performance reports. • Excellent written and verbal skills; comfortable interfacing with partners and internal teams. • Takes initiative to improve processes, bring ideas, and solve problems.
