ServiceNow Functional/BA, Analyst
The Customer & Marketing Offering Portfolio focuses on owning the commercial agenda through growth strategy, enhanced user experiences, and engagement through the entire customer lifecycle. Our Advertising, Marketing & Commerce team focuses on delivering marketing and growth objectives aligned with our clients’ brand values for measurable business growth. We implement and operate the technology platforms that enable personalized content, commerce and marketing user-centric experiences. In doing so, we transform our clients’ marketing and engagement operations into modern, data-driven, creatively focused organizations.
Work you’ll do
- Gather requirements by understanding & assessing user needs, objectives & pain points
- Translate business requirements into clear functional / technical specifications including clear use cases, user stories, workflows, design documents and similar documents
- Highlight / identify gaps in existing functionality / user requirements
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) efforts, including test case development, test execution, and issue resolution
- Participate in solution design sessions providing insights and recommendations to ensure the proposed solutions align with business needs
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between business stakeholders and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle, including requirements validation, testing, and deployment
- Conduct impact analysis to assess the implications of proposed changes
- Participate in Agile development process and contribute to sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Develop change rationale and perform scoping assessments to determine the feasibility of potential changes
- Collaborate extensively across the organization, keep abreast of industry trends, continuously learn and adapt to new tools and techniques, and contribute to process improvement efforts
Qualifications and Experience
Required Skills:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field is required. A Master's degree in a similar field would be a plus
- 2-5 years of experience in Business Analysis / as a Functional Analyst, with a focus on gathering requirements and designing solutions
- Knowledge of ServiceNow / Nuvolo across Nuvolo GXP Lab asset management and ServiceNow scripting
- Tools like Microsoft Visio, JIRA, Confluence, etc.
- Understanding of requirements, use cases, and specification for features
- Familiarity with project management methodologies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks effectively
- Strong relationship building and team collaboration skills
Preferred Skills:
- Good understanding of service portals, workflow automation and the platform and enterprise architectures in ServiceNow
- Familiarity with design thinking methodologies, enabling the application of human-centered approaches to problem-solving, ideation, and innovation processes
- Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA)
