SFMC Technical Lead, Senior Consultant
The Customer & Marketing Offering Portfolio focuses on owning the commercial agenda through growth strategy, enhanced user experiences, and engagement through the entire customer lifecycle. Work you’ll do
· Engage/ lead teams to execute projects and be the key interface to end users
· Analyze and identify gaps in functional/business requirements and should be able to effectively communicate this to both Business and Functional analysts
· Architecting requirements, analysis & providing marketing insight in other phases across existing and identified marketing programs ensuring delivery on planned value
· Playing a key liaison role during technology implementation, providing direction and requirements clarity and testing new and enhanced capabilities, prior to release
· Assess the impact on technical designs caused by changes in functional requirements
· Develop end-to-end marketing automation solution leveraging contact builder, email studio, automation studio, journey builder etc.
· Build/configure integration between Salesforce Marketing Cloud and CRM/other application using MC Connector/Middleware/SOAP/REST based solution
· Maintains alignment with Salesforce Marketing Cloud development best practices
Qualifications and Experience
Required:
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Marketing, or related field.
· 5-10 years of experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, with a focus on Marketing Cloud Personalization (MCP)
· Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications (e.g., Email Specialist, Marketing Cloud Consultant)
· Proven experience in designing and implementing Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions
· Experience working with all Marketing Cloud Builders and Studios, including Mobile Connect and Personalization Builder for Emails
· Front-end development building Cloud Pages utilizing HTML, CSS, JavaScript and AMPScript
· Experience implementing automated solutions utilizing Marketing Cloud Server-Side Java Script (SSJS) would be beneficial.
· Master with SQL and robust understanding of Marketing Cloud’s contact data model.
· Extensive experience utilizing Journey Builder with thorough understanding of Audience Builder configuration
· Ability to elicit requirements and translate to technical solutions
· Experience with web service integration (REST/SOAP), integrations with CRM etc.
Preferred:
- Experience with web service integration (REST/SOAP) would be beneficial
- Experience implementing automated solutions utilizing Marketing Cloud Server-Side Java Script (SSJS) would be beneficial.
- Intensive trainings on latest technologies from eminent external trainers.
- Internal trainings and workshops.
- Subscriptions to prominent online training platforms, such as Lynda.
- Hackathons and tech challenges to exercise your front-end skills.
- Freedom to adopt and use the latest technologies in your live projects.
- Travel opportunity (wherever possible) to work at the client’s location or at our global offices.
· Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and other Salesforce products.
· Knowledge of marketing automation tools and best practices.
· Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
