Mulesoft Integration QA, Analyst
Work you’ll do
- · Review and analyze the integration requirements and specifications.
- · Create test strategy and test plan, define in-scope and out of scope areas
- · Document and maintain the test artifacts and evidence.
- · Design and execute test cases and scenarios that cover functional, non-functional, and negative aspects of integration.
- · Verify and validate the data flow, data transformation, and data quality between integrated systems and components.
- · Report and track defects and issues and communicate with developers and stakeholders.
- · Experience on common test management tools like JIRA, Zephyr etc.
- · Experience on common integration testing tools like Postman / SoapUI / Fiddler, etc.
Qualifications and Experience
Required:
· Education: Bachelors/Master’s degree in Computer Science / MCA / M.Sc
· 1-3 years of experience in Functional Validation/ Testing with exposure to Mulesoft / integration platforms
· Ability to identify test cases from acceptance criteria and define negative test cases
· Ability to defect logging with details highlighting fault in system and monitor and test connectivity of integrated systems and components.
· Ability to test for backward compatibility (if required) and test with all possible data combination.
· Ability to understand domain and construct test and meta data (e.g. CSV, XML, JSON, PDF, etc.) for use within test cases.
· Ability to define test cases and data mappings using development documentation and requirements.
· Ability to maintain the test result documentation that assists other teams in debugging and modification of software and systems.
· Experience with automation testing using JavaScript / java / .NET and extensive knowledge on testing life-cycle process deliverables and reporting.
· Ability to develop creative solutions to test systems.
· Knowledge of integration platforms / technology – preferably MuleSoft, ETL tools like IICS, SSMS, AWS Glue etc.
· Ability to understand system architecture to identify integration points and mechanism.
· Ability to identify dependencies and create stubs / mocks to help test undeveloped components.
· Ability to highlight risks and issues and focus on security at integration points.
· Ability to identify non-functional KPIs like data volume, request / sec, response time, reliability
· Ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of the integrated systems and components.
· Automate the test cases and scenarios using appropriate tools and frameworks.
· Provide feedback and suggestions for improvement of the integration process and solutions
