Analytics & Cognitive

The Analytics & Cognitive team leverages the power of data, analytics, robotics, science and cognitive technologies to uncover hidden relationships from vast troves of data, generate insights, and inform decision-making. Together with the Strategy practice, our Strategy & Analytics portfolio helps clients transform their business by architecting organizational intelligence programs and differentiated strategies to win in their chosen markets.
Analytics & Cognitive will work with our clients to:
• Implement large-scale data ecosystems including data management, governance and the integration of structured and unstructured data to generate insights leveraging cloud-based platforms.
• Leverage automation, cognitive and science-based techniques to manage data, predict scenarios and prescribe actions.
• Drive operational efficiency by maintaining their data ecosystems, sourcing analytics expertise and providing As-a-Service offerings for continuous insights and improvements.
Informatica IDMC Administrator
Overview
The Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) Administrator is responsible for the administration, maintenance, and support of the Informatica IDMC platform. This role ensures the smooth operation of data integration, data quality, and data governance processes within the organization. The administrator will work closely with data architects, data engineers, and other IT professionals to ensure the platform meets the business's data management needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Platform Administration:
- Install, configure, and maintain the Informatica IDMC platform.
- Manage user access, roles, and permissions within the platform.
- Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability of the platform.
- Perform regular system backups and disaster recovery planning.
- Support and Maintenance:
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for issues related to the Informatica IDMC platform.
- Apply patches and upgrades to the platform as needed.
- Collaborate with Informatica support for issue resolution and platform enhancements.
- Data Integration and Management:
- Support data integration processes, including ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) operations.
- Ensure data quality and data governance standards are maintained.
- Develop and maintain documentation for data integration processes and platform configurations.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with data architects, data engineers, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure the platform meets these needs.
- Provide training and support to end-users on the use of the Informatica IDMC platform.
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in administering Informatica platforms, preferably IDMC.
- Strong understanding of data integration, data quality, and data governance principles.
- Experience with cloud-based data management solutions.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Informatica IDMC administration.
- Knowledge of SQL and database management.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Understanding of networking, security, and compliance considerations in a cloud environment.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Informatica certification(s) related to IDMC.
- Experience with other data management tools and technologies.
- Knowledge of scripting languages for automation (e.g., Python, Shell scripting).
