Quantitative Insights - Analyst – CoRe Research & Insights – Deloitte Support Services India Private Limited

As a Quantitative Insights Analyst, you will be part of a team that develops, writes, and presents comprehensive market intelligence, empowering Deloitte’s global leaders with strategic insights and actionable strategies.

Work you’ll do

The ideal candidate will analyze complex data sets, generate actionable insights, and present findings to stakeholders. You will work closely with various teams to support data-driven decision-making processes. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience with data analysis and visualization tools, and excellent communication abilities.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

  • Ability to work at the intersection of quantitative data, business context, and market insights to connect dots and/ or look for patterns and insights.

  • Conduct quantitative analysis using statistical knowledge, languages such as R and Python, and analytical tools to generate actionable insights from complex datasets.

  • Identify and analyze trends and patterns in data to support strategic planning and decision-making.

  • Develop user-centric visualization through tools and platforms like Tableau and Power BI, demonstrating a deep understanding of statistics, quantitative techniques, and financial understanding.

  • Develop detailed reports and presentations to communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders.

  • Work closely with cross-industry teams to support data-driven decision-making.

  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices in data analysis.

  • Execute projects in teams or independently, ensuring quality and timelines. Follow project execution guidelines around communication, sharing regular updates/flags within agreed-upon timelines.

  • Foster a culture of innovation by continuously seeking opportunities to improve research methodologies, analytical tools, and strategic frameworks.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering and a Master’s in data science, statistics, or related fields.

  • Minimum of one year of experience in quantitative data analysis and insights generation.

  • Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as advanced Excel, R, and Python.

  • Experience developing, maintaining, and managing Tableau/Power BI-driven dashboards.

  • Knowledgeable about Tableau/Power BI features, including advanced calculations, parameters, joins, blending, stories, and dashboards.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Familiarity with SQL and exposure to Generative AI tools and prompt engineering is an added advantage.
