Work you will do
§ Technical Knowledge
o Software prototyping and construction
§ Create prototypes, if necessary, to validate proposed solutions and seek feedback from stakeholders.
§ Thorough familiarity with and practical application of test-driven development and continuous integration techniques.
§ Create new business-tier components, Web apps, and database objects utilizing UI frameworks like JS/jQuery and Bootstrap and Microsoft platform technologies like ASP.NET MVC, C#, SQL Server, and Entity Framework.

§ Design and develop robust, scalable, and maintainable software solutions that meet business requirements and technical specifications.
§ Develop and maintain high-quality code, adhering to coding standards and best practices.
§ Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure the quality and maintainability of the codebase.
§ Implement automated testing and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to ensure rapid and reliable delivery of software updates.
§ Stay up to date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices, and apply this knowledge to improve the quality and efficiency of the software development process.
o Analysis and Design
· Transforms high-level design into low-level design, and implementation.
· Assess activities across the project life cycle, evaluate business user needs, develop, and document an effective solution, and create the business components and database objects necessary to implement the solution.
· Work with the Development Team to design the front-end and back-end systems necessary to fulfill document requirements.
· Assist project managers in correctly defining and clarifying business requirements, development estimation, and work plan completion.
· Coordinate with peers on design implications and work with them to resolve issues.
· Develop and maintain technical documentation, including code comments, API documentation, and user guides.
· Conduct thorough analysis of business requirements to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement.
· Create detailed design documents, including data flow diagrams, system architecture diagrams, and technical specifications.
· Perform feasibility studies to determine the best approach for implementing new features or systems.
· Develop prototypes or proof-of-concepts to test new ideas or validate assumptions.
· Conduct impact analysis to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies
Create data models and entity-relationship diagrams to visualize complex data structures.
o Perform unit and integration testing on all developed code.
§ Create and execute unit and integration tests within development lifecycle.
§ Proactively benchmark application code to mitigate performance and scalability issues.
§ Work with Quality Assurance Team on issue reporting, resolution, and change control.
o Support and Troubleshooting
§ Keep up application development servers using the Operations Group's bare minimum assistance. Depending on the difficulty of the software and the standard of the external documentation, "train the trainers" may occasionally be necessary.
§ Assist Operations Team with any environment issues during application deployment across Development, QA, Staging, and Production environments.
§ Assist Networking Group in debugging issues that could develop because of integrating multiple components or applications.
§ Troubleshoot and debug issues and collaborate with the team to resolve complex technical problems.
o Project Management
§ Partner with product managers to contribute to the design of enhancements and confirm that business requirements are being met.
§ Co-manage threads of technology enhancement projects, with counterparts in the global technology organization.
§ Participate in the execution of business stakeholder activities in conjunction with technology projects, e.g., business validation, knowledge transfer sessions, deployment.
§ Gather project requirements from onshore/offshore teams.
§ Lead small projects or assigned to phase(s) of larger project(s). involving product enhancements.
§ Analyze project requirements and communicates directly with product owners to deliver projects.
§ Directly work with global stakeholders to scope and deliver projects; partner with other teams as needed to provide comprehensive and accurate response to client requests; assist in peer review of partner team projects and deliverables, as needed.
§ Demonstrate strong communication and presentation skills.
§ Proactively highlight risks and opportunities to leads.
§ Efficiently conduct testing of applications, ability to catch issues and identify potential problematic areas.
§ Work with various technical teams for new enhancement builds/defect fixes.
§ Be able to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments, and raise concerns/questions where appropriate.
§ Coaching & Mentoring
§ Coach team members on technical skills, business knowledge and identify training requirements to close learning gaps, peer review the deliverables of Analysts and other Sr. Analysts on the team.
§ Support or guide Analysts with client conversations to clarify requests, ensure accurate understanding of scope, manage client expectations.
§ Serve as peer mentor and train team members and collaboration partners on technical skills and business knowledge.
§ Mentor junior team members in project management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
§ Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions, workshops, or training programs to enhance team's technical expertise.
Qualifications:
Required Experience: B.Tech/M.Tech, MBA, Lateral Hire (4-6 years of experience).
Required Skills:
· 4-6 years’ experience in any of the technologies that includes .NET (C#, MVC, Entity Framework, .net Core), VBA, Python, SQL Server, HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
· Hands on Experience in MVC (Web Application Development) or VBA or Python.
· Knowledge on OOPS and Design Pattern.
· Familiarity with Azure Web Services and Azure SQL Database is a plus.
· Experience in Azure DevOps & Cloud would be added advantage.
· Good to have Tableau exposure.
· Proven Experience in creating, consuming, and integrating REST API/WEB API using service - oriented architecture.
· Experience in working with global enterprise applications.
· Strong understanding of infrastructure and security concepts. Working experience with server farms, firewalls, networks, and distributed systems a plus.
· Good knowledge on SQL server.
· Ability to support multiple programming languages and learn new technologies as they become available· Excellent verbal and written communication.
· Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience.
