Cloud Plus Full Stack – Assistant Manager - Deloitte Support Services India Private Limited

Cognitive Applications COE sits inside Deloitte’s global shared services organization and serves Deloitte’s 10 largest member firms worldwide. The Cognitive Applications COE team creates user experiences that deliver relevant content and connections, enable the discovery of impactful knowledge and delight users by delivering innovative applications that use emerging technologies.

Work you’ll do

As a part of this team, you will be involved with:

  • Lead a team of up to 3-6 developers across multiple channels. Keep the team motivated by encouraging teaming and sharing of best practices
  • Work in a hybrid style with 70% - 30% ratio, where 70% is Lead developer/Technical Architect role and 30% is team operations.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their business needs and work with the team to determine the best technical solution.
  • Lead research and development efforts and evangelize new technologies within a growing team.
  • Act as an SME as we transition all projects and products to an agile/scrum delivery model.
  • Work with all the developers to maintain document repository / code library and take complete ownership to keep it up to date. 
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the team including work assignment, driving operational processes, quality assurance and customer service standards.
  • Build rapport with the stakeholders and other key customers; coordinate and maintain internal and external communication with key stakeholders
  • Need to design and develop Enterprise applications and support application enhancements.
  • Should be able to work independently on Proof on Concepts related to Cloud or Gen AI technologies.
  • Coach and manage team members. Perform due diligence based on performance management / feedback data to create individual performance metrics. Keep track of the goals of the team members and provide opportunities for growth.

The team

Digital customer solutions (DCS) sit inside Deloitte’s global shared services organization. Our group sits within DCS and work on cognitive projects for Deloitte internal customers. We aim to delight users by delivering innovative applications that leverage current and emerging technologies.

Qualifications Required:

  • Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer applications, engineering, or equivalent certification/diploma with total of 5-8 years of experience in designing and deploying enterprise solutions
  • Should have at least 3-6 years of experience with designing and developing cloud solutions on any major cloud vendor (preferred Azure)
  • Should be familiar working with cloud based PAAS solutions and security protocols
  • Experience in any major programming language like Python, .Net, C#, etc. (preferred python)
  • Experience in front end stacks like Angular, Reach, Vanilla JS, HTML, CSS, etc.
  • Experience in setting up and using SQL and no-SQL databases
  • Good to have:
    • Exposure in building applications integrated with LLMs (Azure OpenAI, Llama, Claude)
    • Exposure in building applications using frameworks like LangChain, CrewAI, Ollama
  • Should have a track record of handling mid-size teams
  • Must be able to perform in a fast paced, virtual & distributed team environment.
  • Extremely strong interpersonal and team-building skills. Able to foster a cohesive and effective work environment
  • Ability to seamlessly interact with client leaders, practitioners, and related/supporting roles.
  • Candidate should also be adaptive and flexible as conditions change and have experience working as a change agent to influence others
  • Strong verbal/written communication, presentation and relationship building skills
  • Creative, independent thinker who can execute on the details.
  • Excellent research, analytical, collaborative and negotiation skills.
  • Critical thinking and proactive problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience working with geo-distributed teams and clients.

Location: Hyderabad

Work timings: 11AM to 8PM
