Deputy Manager – Center of Account Excellence Professional – Deloitte Account Services (DAS)

In search of a dynamic, motivated professional with proven people development skills. You should be able to lead a sub-team in the Center of Account Excellence, supporting the most important clients of Deloitte.

Work you’ll do

As a Center of Account Excellence (CoAE) professional, you will:

·       Manage the projects/services/operations of the Deloitte Account Services (DAS) – Center of Account Excellence channel, in alignment with the strategic vision of the firm

·       Invest in people, lead process efficiency through automation and standardization

·       Launch new service offerings, putting governance, process, and standardization in place

·       Partner with key stakeholders including account leaders, business leaders and team members

Key Responsibilities

Excellence in Delivery:

·       Guide and direct the development of the standards and SLAs for delivery of set tasks and deliverables

·       Manage capacity, resourcing, and deployment appropriately in the delivery channel, ensuring seamless delivery and SLA adherence

·       Work with the Center of Account Excellence leader to make sure that excellence and value is being delivered

·       Interact with other business areas to bring the right capabilities to the delivery of key activities

Develop Our People and Our Community:

·       Hire effectively: Hire, coach and develop professionals who can deliver excellent quality and will dedicate time and attention to the DAS team

·       Build and inspire a culture of excellence: Provide deep subject matter orientation, underpinned by effective and efficient tools and processes

·       Create a community: Bring the DAS team and other CoAE professionals together and facilitate collaboration and leading practice sharing

·       Build a team of leaders: Focus on leadership development from within the team

·       Be a leader to each team member: Help all your team members maximize their talents and strengths, development areas, goals and aspirations; work with all team members to address their needs (performance management, flexible working, leaves of absence, etc.)

·       Own the Talent lifecycle: Recruitment – Learning and Development – Performance Management and Recognition – Promotion and Career Progression

            

Qualification and Experience required:

·       7 – 10 years of professional experience, at least 2 years as a People Manager

·       MBA and/or Masters in relevant field required

·       Location: Hyderabad

Optional:

·       PMP certification

Skills:  

·       Experience in leading 10-12 members’ team

·       Strong business acumen, ability to think conceptually and identify and address future challenges and opportunities, often in an ambiguous environment

·       Keen analytical and strategic thinking skills and the ability to structure, organize, and synthesize information

·       Executive presence

·       Strong persuasion, influencing, negotiation and conflict resolution skills

·       Proven project management skills in managing multi‐location teams and multi‐workstream projects

·       Strong presentation skills, verbal, and written business communication skills

·       Self‐starter with an affinity for technology driven efficiencies and enhanced service delivery

·       Passionate about setting up processes to deliver high‐quality deliverables

·       Committed and passionate about leading and working in a large team, often virtual, and developing team members for success

·       Excellent team management and coaching skills

·       Strong personal and professional ethics

Work Timings: Work in rotational shifts of 11 AM to 8 PM and 2 PM to 11 PM IST shift (as per business requirement).
