Deputy Manager - Deloitte Support Services India Private Limited

As a Deputy Manager in the TBM (Technology Business Management) group, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining data solutions. Your primary responsibilities will include SQL scripting, database architecture, and data integration. This role requires strong technical skills in SQL Server & SSIS.

Work you’ll do

As a part of this team, you will:

·       Develop and maintain database architecture standards, guidelines, and best practices.

·       Design, develop, and optimize stored procedures, functions, and triggers to support application development and business processes.

·       Design and implement data integration solutions, including ETL processes.

·       In depth knowledge and hands on experience in writing T-SQL.

·       Ability to understand, modify and write complex stored procedures.

·       Troubleshoot, debug, tune and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures.

·       In depth knowledge and hands on experience on various SSIS transformations.

·       Lead requirement gathering sessions to elicit requirements and system dependencies.

·       Collaborate with application developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand and address data requirements.

·       Provide service for ad hoc business data needs and make recommendations for viable solutions.

·       Communicate changes, enhancements, and modifications – verbally or through written documentation – to management and other employees so that issues and solutions are understood.

·       Escalate issues as they arise to help revise requirements and timelines as appropriate.

Work Location: Hyderabad

Shift Timings: 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM

TBM at Deloitte defines a business model and decision-making framework which enables IT to run as a business. TBM provides IT organization with the solutions—strategies, methodologies, and tools—to manage the cost, quality, and value of their IT services. The technical operations team support the technology needs for TBM by creating expense and time related codes, maintaining data on SQL, preparing various tools/reports on SQL, Tableau and Excel.

Qualifications

Required:

·       University degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or equivalent in work experience.

·       8+ years of experience with SQL development.

·       Expertise in creating stored procedures in SQL.

·       Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and optimizing database performance.

·       Knowledge of ETL processes and data integration tools.

·       Good experience in SSIS.

·       Possess strong communication and analytical skills to effectively capture, develop and implement customer requirements.

·       Ability to exercise independent judgment and act on it.

·       Strong customer service orientation.
