Assistant Manager, AI Academy

The team
The Applied Artificial Intelligence Strategic Growth Offering (AI SGO) drives the development, execution and integration of Deloitte’s AI brand, offerings, and capabilities across its businesses (Audit & Assurance, Consulting, Tax, and Risk and Financial Advisory) in the US and USI as well as ensures the alignment of global strategy, technology, and innovation. The AI SGO works to capitalize on Deloitte’s shared strengths, leverage our scale and define our unique, highly differentiated formula for market leadership.
Deloitte’s AI AcademyTM sits under the AI SGO, and is designed to help bridge the technology talent gap by developing and re-skilling today’s workforce with immersive training in the AI and Generative AI capabilities required for the digital economy.
As a USI Assistant Manager in the AI Academy, you will play a key role in driving the learning and upskilling strategy for our professionals in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI). You will be responsible for contributing to the design and delivery of comprehensive learning programs that enable professionals across various disciplines to acquire AI and Generative AI expertise. This role involves close collaboration with firm leadership, AI business teams, and other stakeholders to successfully integrate AI and Generative AI knowledge and skills into the organization's processes.
Work you’ll do
As an AI Academy Assistant Manager, you will contribute to strategic initiatives to build a workforce equipped with AI skills and proficiency. Specific activities include:
- Learning Program Design and Delivery: Collaborate with L&D, and business and technology experts in the design and delivery of comprehensive learning programs that cater to professionals at different expertise levels and are aligned to the firm’s priorities and overall learning and development strategy. Leverage various training modalities to deliver impactful learning experiences.
- Curriculum Development: Work with AI thought leaders and business leaders to help develop and curate a rich curriculum that evolves with the dynamic AI landscape and meets the evolving AI needs of different functions within the Firm.
- Measurement and Reporting: Assist in measuring and reporting on the impact of the learning programs on professionals' AI competency and regularly assess the effectiveness of training initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree
- 4-6 years of experience in designing and executing learning and skill development programs; and 1+ years of relevant experience in AI or emerging technologies
- Demonstrated strong project management skills, with a proven ability to lead and manage complex projects from conception to completion, ensuring deadlines and objectives are met
- Understanding of AI concepts, technologies, and their applications across industries
- Experience collaborating with stakeholders at various levels and translating their needs into actionable learning programs
- Strong communication skills and ability to present and facilitate meetings with leadership as well as technical and non-technical executives
- Experience in developing/driving strategic initiatives or transformations
- Travel up to 10-15%

- Familiarity with e-learning platforms, LMS systems, and virtual training environments.
- Strong program management experience
- Previous experience or understanding of market research, product strategy etc.
