Work you’ll do.
As an Information Security Analyst your duties would involve working with internal partners to deliver assessments against a broad range of services. Duties include:
- Establishing and maintaining first line advice and guidance material e.g., frequently asked questions (FAQ’s) and knowledge articles.
- Provide first line advice and guidance to our customers, and support Ad-HOC requests to support the business to meet its objectives.
- Triage and coordinate of all new requestion item tickets for allocation to relevant function and service areas.
- Support Cyber Security functions in developing and maintaining workflows within service management tooling (ServiceNow).
- Provision of information security approvals within CISO risk appetite.
- Oversee maintenance of service catalogues and service-related documentation.
- Delivering and maintaining documentation repository, overseeing the quality management system (QMS), including conducting regular audits, reviews and follow up activity.
- Create and oversee implementation of related metrics and reporting as directed.
Education and Experience:
Essentials
- Degree in IT / computer science or information security or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 2 years in an information security related role.
- Very strong written and verbal skills.
- Experience of Information Security Management Systems and ISO 9001 based quality management systems
- Demonstrable understanding and experience in delivering service management techniques and tooling such as ServiceNow.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of security awareness material.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of security policy frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of risk management methodologies and risk analysis.
- Strong ability to develop and maintain service level processes, workflows, and procedures.
Desirables
- Desire to achieve at least one security industry certification (e.g. CISM, CRISC, CISA, CISSP)
- ITILv4 Foundation
- Have a knowledge and understanding of various Information Assurance Frameworks, Cryptographic Assurance, Product and Service Assurance and Vulnerability and Penetration Testing
