Core Procurement – Senior Analyst – Portfolio Optimization - Deloitte Support Services India Private Limited

The Sr. Analyst – Portfolio Optimization, will be responsible for people/team which owns the Procurement Savings Methodology, ensures that projects align with the broader CoRe Procurement project portfolio and business case. Additional responsibilities include supporting implementation of new policies & integrating priorities for onboarding new Member Firms (MF).

This position is an opportunity to play an active role in the selection and management of highly visible and critical service providers.

Work you will do:

The CoRe Procurement organization was created to drive the Deloitte Global 2020 Strategy by sharing investments and resources to increase our global operational performance, enhance cross-border agility, deliver strategic procurement services, develop talent, enhance operational performance and mitigate risk. 

The Procurement Strategy and Operations group is seeking an Sr. Analyst for our Procurement Portfolio Optimization team. The Procurement Portfolio Optimization team validates recommended strategy and business case of the CoRe project portfolio and ensures projects are planned in line with broader CoRe project portfolio.  Additional responsibilities include supporting new Member Firm (MF) onboarding integration priorities and monthly leadership meeting reporting preparation.

Responsibilities:

  • ·       As a Subject Matter Expertise (SME), guide and help the team
  • ·       Review and validate (all sourcing + contracts >$1Million USD) charters.
  • ·       Assist category teams with completing these for qualifying efforts.
  • ·       Maintaining regular updates for the categories
  • ·       Consultation of in-flight projects for new Member Firm integration (MF onboarding)
  • ·       Review and report to Category teams for awareness of upcoming efforts
  • ·       Develop a dialog with key category sourcing leads to assist with resource allocation.  
  • ·       Validation of spend and savings methodologies and MF breakdown must be reviewed with our team prior to their submission.
  • ·       Follow up with stakeholders as needed where action items are identified

Enabling Areas (EA) at the U.S. India offices are the support arm of the organization and comprises several groups including Talent, Technology, Finance, Communications, Field Operations, etc. EA gives every client service business unit access to the best and brightest resources when it comes to support services. More specifically, EA enables the business units to solely focus on satisfying clients and developing new products and services to sustain competitive advantage, while they consolidate and standardize a diverse collection of systems, processes, and functions. The team provides a wide array of services to the U.S and India professionals and is continually evaluating and expanding its portfolio.

Requisite core skills

·       Self-starter with the ability to present data with accompanying commentary, trends & key insights to senior stakeholders

·       Prior experience in reviewing & reporting data related to charters/contracts in a multi-national environment

·       Excel and PowerPoint skills

·       Highly organized with excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Leading conversations with confidence is a required quality

    

     Technical Skills

·       Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint required.

·       Experience working with ServiceNow reports is desirable but not necessary.

Other Qualifications

  • ·       Experience of working in shared services and/or professional services environment, with a strong client service orientation (whether internal or external clients)
  • o    Prior experience in project/contracts’ management in a multi-national environment is desirable
  • ·       Demonstrated abilities in:
  • o    Working independently in an unstructured environment; developing structure and clarity around the ambiguous
  • o    Navigating through complex collaborative initiatives
  • o    Understanding, documenting, and improving business processes
  • o    Written communication (e.g. PowerPoint presentations geared to support decision-making by leaders)
  • o    Interpersonal skills/“Team player”
  • o    Working under tight time constraints, juggling multiple priorities
  • ·       Willingness to embrace a global workplace environment.

Teaming

·       Liaise with CoRe Procurement resources and business stakeholders across the global member firm network whilst having regular interaction with global OGC team members

·       Additionally, managing the team members and will have regular interaction with the contracts administration team within Core Global Procurement

Location: Hyderabad

Experience: 4- 6years

Timings: Flexibility required based on business needs as sourcing efforts will require engaging with vendors and stakeholders around the globe: 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM (Expected to stretch during peak periods)
