Assistant Manager – CoRe Data Management Services – Deloitte Support Services India Private Limited

Work you’ll do

      Perform extensive searches using online databases, the Internet, print materials, technical reports, scholarly journal articles, and original source material

      Make logical associations across multiple research and workflow processes in order to reduce the amount of time required to attain proficiency with similar assigned duties.

      Format and ensures accuracy and consistency of data through careful execution of process

      Identify and resolve issues with data quality by monitoring and profiling information to look for outliers using standard firm systems and tools.

      Gather external validation using third party databases and external sources

      Work towards developing higher level of knowledge of the team’s different processes

      Self-train on supplemental skills for research and workflow methodologies through self-educational courses, publications, etc.

      Lead 2 - 6 resources and reports into Deputy Manager/ Manager

Core Skills required

Functional Expertise:

      Act as a catalyst and demonstrate a deep understanding of all available client, vendor, people, entity, opportunity data

      Ability to support gathering and documenting of complex client requirements and provide user support.

      Manage effort to validate Firm’s client master that involves finding, evaluating, and integrating additional sources of information

      6+ years of relevant hands-on experience on Data Management processes and procedures that include managing Client Data Profiling effort monitoring, and quality control capabilities aimed at improvement of the level of trust leaders and practitioners have in the data

      6+ years of hands-on experience on using CDI methodologies to design, implement, and improve the Client Data Hub

      6+ years of relevant hands-on experience on Client Segmentation techniques that include classifying and segmenting clients using the Market Refresh (Parent Client population, attributes, & hierarchy) and process of improving GUP client industry classification

      Strong knowledge on internal and external platforms and information sources (examples include Salesforce, MDM Informatica, SAP, D&B Hoovers, Compu stat, EDGAR, Merger Stat, etc.)

      Ability to work seamlessly between normalized and multi-dimensional data models

      6+ years of experience on Data Architecture concepts like Change Data Capture (CDC) techniques, data spanning over multiple time horizon like Market offering framework, multiple dimensional hierarchies, geo coding clients etc.

      6+ years of relevant experience using BPI methodologies to optimize utilization, increase throughput (workflow), and improve quality

      Ability to understand and interpret intermediate client requirements

      Support end-to-end processes, collaborating with key stakeholders and responding to data inquiries.

      Perform QA of the day-to-day workflows and provide guidance to the team on errors, issues identified

Business knowledge:

      Lead a team of Analysts & Senior Analysts as a technical lead for a knowledge sharing applications

      Decision making and impact: Take decisions with minimal consultation/supervision from DM and have a strong impact on the team

      Implement training programs on process overviews to team members/business stakeholders

      Have a good understanding of work and process roadmap priorities thereby enriching the understanding of the stake holder expectation to the delivery team • Document when process produces unexpected results and create and own process documentation and training materials

      Have a detailed understanding of process requirements, attributes, and design. Recognize and document QA processes

      Develop expertise in one or more areas and assume the role as the SME

      Cross train and train new team members on complex data management, research and workflow methodologies.

      Build strong relationship with the client teams to execute day to day responsibilities and Processes

      Innovation, Creativity and problem solving: Collaborate with DMs and above and contribute to innovation and strategic assignments. Lead the innovation Processes and execute them with the help of As and SAs

      Lead and provide guidance to the virtual teams during change/ambiguity

      Mentor and coach the team members, have career conversations with team members and recognize them to keep them motivated

      Handle the entire cycle of performance management - regular coaching sessions, due diligence, performance metrics and reviews, presentation of performance reviews and ability to influence stakeholders

      Conduct timely and regular counselling and performance assessment

      Define business processes to remove ambiguity and streamline implementation

      Builds stakeholder relationship to manage expectations and improve/enhance value/depth of service.

      Articulate the program priorities thereby enriching the understanding of the stakeholder expectation to the delivery team

      Consistently look for ways to upskill the team members by identifying and planning for learnings and trainings in collaboration with Deputy Manager(s) and Manager(s)

Process Management:

      Complexity and independent judgement - Able to drive things independently with minimal supervision from the DM. Also, should be able to handle relatively complex issues and processes, consult with the DM if/wherever required

      Be a consultant to stakeholders – to advise on pros and cons of various processes, etc to stakeholders to arrive at an informed decision

      Manage delivery of business SLAs/project timelines and conduct regular audits of the current processes and quality

      Establish the new processes identified to manage ambiguity and streamline implementation

      Drive execution of enhancement processes/maintenance processes on processes including requirements, scoping and implementation plans

      Manage process enhancements opportunities towards improving efficiency and quality of deliverables

      Captures and disseminates periodic performance related/team metrics reports

      Lead cross teaming opportunities and cross collaboration efforts identified for the team

      Develop plans, schedules, and provide resource estimates for processes and task activities using established process management standards

      Triage and scope requests (high level); assess involvement of relevant teams; value add through being proactive rather than reactive

      Act as a trusted advisor on the process management best practices for Business stakeholders

      Take corrective and preventive measures on issues identified and impact achieved

      Finalize the delivery timelines working with appropriate teams while ensuring the same is acceptable to the requester/stakeholder

      Demonstrate overall business understanding & awareness of critical elements associated with the various process stages

      Serve as the point of escalation for aligned customers & stakeholders

      Handle the entire process cycle end to end

Industry/Firm knowledge:

      Demonstrate strong understanding of firm policies and risk management elements

      Ability to connect the dots and translate strategic priorities into executable action items

Relationship Management:

Leadership and autonomy - Understand the overall objective of the Processes and should be able to give guidance to others with minimal supervision. Should be able to prioritize the work for As and SAs and manage the overall execution of the project

      Coordinate and maintain internal and external communication with all stakeholders

      Regularly connect & build relationships with global stakeholders and counterparts to understand expectations & match delivery.

Technical Expertise

      6+ years on any of the below given platforms:

o    Informatica 360 MDM platform

o    Salesforce Platform

o    SAP S4

      Advance knowledge and 6+ years of experience on Microsoft Office suite including MS Access, MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint and MS Visio

      4+ years relevant experience on SQL, including well-versed in writing queries and extracting data; VBA and other code

      4+ years hands-on experience of SharePoint other data visualization platforms

      Technology or Other Requirements:

o    Advance knowledge of MS Office Suite

o    Ability to write SQL statements

Experience: 6 to 8 years of relevant work experience and minimum 3-5 years of experience in data management role

Work timings: 2 PM to 11PM

Qualifications

Bachelor’s and/ or Master's degree in Computer Information/ General Science/ Commerce and Business Administration or related field
