Overview of the team and job profile

The Sustainability & Climate (S&C) team is part of the global firm. We are looking for a passionate, high energy, and self-motivated individual who is accustomed to working independently and collaboratively on small and large projects in a close-knit team. We are seeking a person with at least 6 years of post-MBA experience, in the sales operations and analytics space with strong project management, sales analytics, problem-solving, and excellent communication skills.

We work with the internal global and regional S&C teams at the intersection of businesses, alliances, and industries to orchestrate delivery efforts and solve the most complex challenges in more cohesive, consistent, and exponentially powerful ways.

Specifically, the sales excellence team is responsible for driving S&C sales and pipeline reporting, informing win rates and collaboration, and removing impediments to secure the most important S&C deals around the world.

Core responsibilities

  •      Lead assigned projects, which will include collaboration and coordination with a variety of global stakeholders
  •      Develop project plans, holding key stakeholders accountable to project dates and timelines, and identify and resolve issues and conflicts across the operational organization
  •      Responsible for all aspects of financial, pipeline and sales reporting leveraging Deloitte’s global CRM systems
  •      Track top opportunities, investments, and prepare for and participate in pipeline review calls and other forums
  •      Drive analytics by interpreting quantitative and qualitative data, draw conclusions, and develop strategic recommendations; use advanced storyboarding, excel, and visualization skills
  •      Develop high quality power point presentations and present to internal S&C leadership team
  •      Work with S&C leaders to define success metrics, establish benefits tracking processes, develop and manage KPIs
  •      Assist the S&C team to navigate cross-border processes and connection with appropriate subject matter experts (i.e., Technology, Finance etc.) across the business
  •      Solid project management skills, with the ability to seamlessly switch between different workstreams
  •      Guide junior team members, including capacity management
  •      Actively share best practices among US/global and India team members
  •      Develop and maintain working relationships with US/global counterparts

Key skills

  • ·       Strong core consulting skills – i.e. analytical, primary and secondary research, presentation, including logical structuring and storytelling, superior knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint, working knowledge of Tableau and Power BI
  • ·       Strong analytical skills, including knowledge of tools and technologies such as Alteryx, Anaplan etc.
  • ·       Ability to integrate and synthesize large sets of data and broad stakeholder perspectives into meaningful recommendations
  • ·       Ability to manage operational performance and reporting cycles (including the oversight of KPIs, opportunity pipeline, and investment impact tracking)
  • ·       Prior experience in guiding junior team members
  • ·       Ability to make connections in highly matrixed environment, with eye on integration
  • ·       Persuasive communication skills with an ability to gain consensus
  • ·       Strong problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
  • ·       Strong presentation and verbal and written communication skills, and experience communicating to, and working with, virtual teams, and senior leadership
  • ·       Ability to thrive in a complex and fast-paced environment with many competing priorities
  • ·       Exceptional attention to detail, responsiveness, and strong track record of executing high-impact initiatives
  • ·       Self-motivated, innovative, and strong team player

Academic qualifications and professional experience

  • ·       Academic qualification: Master’s Degree like MBA
  • ·       Work experience: 6+ years, post MBA
  • ·       Strong track record with previous employment, preferably with consulting firms; prior experience in reporting & analytics is preferred
  • ·       Hybrid work arrangement: Three days in office per week
  • ·       Location: Mumbai
  • ·       Work hours: 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM
