Manager, Graphic Design – Deloitte Support Services India Pvt. Ltd.

Position Overview:


Deloitte USI is seeking a Manager for their Graphic Design team in Hyderabad, India. You are an inspirational creative studio leader with deep expertise in the areas of design thinking, digital interaction and technology as they apply to marketing—preferably, in the North American context. As a strategic thinker, you are able to dig deep into the insights provided in a creative brief and guide the Marketing team to produce relevant and impactful solutions, in line with business objectives.

You have strong experience in producing cutting-edge deliverables across multiple touch points and channels including: Print, Digital, Social Media, Motion Graphics, Animation, 3D, and Video.

As an integral member of a high-performing team, you will be responsible for working collaboratively with other stakeholders to deliver on initiatives strategically decided upon to drive value for the firm.

Responsibilities:

·     Leading a marketing-aligned creative studio, providing strategic guidance and creative advice on winning design approaches

·        Conceptualizing and implementing designs to communicate information in a compelling and visually appealing solution, while adhering to Deloitte's brand guidelines

·     Creating high-profile deliverables that showcase the future of creativity, design thinking, innovation, and industry-leading practices

·     Actively leading design activities from inception to delivery, outlining the deliverables and implementing them for projects

·     Reviewing and critiquing deliverables, and providing feedback ensuring brand and quality compliance, technical robustness, and alignment with brief/project objectives

·   Troubleshooting any design limitations with platform integrations, and template/CMS restrictions

·        Adding value, and developing innovative ideas and best practices based on new trends in Design (such as the integration of creative design with web development)

·        Coaching and mentoring to a team of graphic designers

·     Collaborating effectively with multi-disciplinary teams and a range of key internal stakeholders and project sponsors

·        Providing strategic guidance to elevate team’s skills and output

·   Drawing on knowledge and expertise in design and web development interactions to inspire growth

Qualifications and experience:

The successful candidate will meet the following criteria:

·        Formal graphic design training (college degree or diploma), along with 8-12 years’ experience working in a graphic design studio—inhouse or an agency. Experience working with B2B/corporate clients in North America will be an asset.

·     Leadership and coaching experience (design, technology and QA), and ability to inspire innovation and learning

·   Demonstrated ability to contribute to brainstorming and whiteboarding sessions, conduct research, develop creative themes, produce visuals, and collaborate with internal and external resources both in virtual and in-person environments

·      Connected to current digital and design trends, with a sophisticated eye able to source the right artwork including photography, illustrations and visual treatments

·        Expert-level skills using Adobe Creative Suite, in particular Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. Technical expertise in preparing files for print and digital production.

·   Experience with motion graphics, animation and 3D. Experience with video/audio editing tools, such as Adobe AfterEffects, Premier, Media Encoder, Audition, XD, Animate, or similar will be an added advantage.

·   Experience in integrated design-and-digital processes (UX design, web design/development, prototyping, wireframes, user stories/personas, customer journeys) an asset

·       Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to pitch ideas to clients and senior stakeholders, and synthesize feedback into a clear plan of action

·   Strong leadership and relationship development skills, able to provide feedback and direction to elevate the work of design team members. Ensure quality standards are met before the work is passed on for client review.

·    Demonstrated commitment to service excellence; a professional client-servicing demeanor

·        A design portfolio is a mandatory to be considered for the position

Work Location: Hyderabad, India

Shift Timings: 2 PM to 11 PM IST
