Finance and Performance (F&P)
Location – Gurgaon, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Mumbai, Pune, Kolkata, Chennai
At Deloitte F&P, Finance Operations Transformation Team, You
· Will closely work with Finance Executives to design their future state finance processes
· Will help client executives to elevate their role by building capabilities and undertaking operation finance transformation journey (strategy, implementation, and operations)
· Will advise the client Finance Executives to define efficient processes through process standardization, rationalization and implementation across entities and functions, while ensuing compliance to regulatory policies
· Will help clients define their finance technology implementation strategy and end to end finance business processes to align with overall future state vision and digital ambitions
· Will act as the finance specialist and advise on large scale Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and adjacent digital technology deployments and liaise between business & ERP/systems implementation teams
· Will liaise between finance executives, solution architects, and ERP/system implementation teams to ensure finance priorities are understood and aligned to define current and future state processes, alignment to standard functionality (e.g., fit/gap, automated vs manual processes), and impacts to the finance business teams
· Will be responsible for analyzing and designing finance data models to support ERP/systems and broader Finance requirements (Chart of Accounts, cost centers, profit centers, products, customers, etc.)
· Will be involved in identifying and implementing Key Performance Indictors and metrics for the new ERP ecosystem, as well as capture and communicate the value to the stakeholders
· Will conduct analysis, optimize and design processes and policies for Finance of Future through the lens of ERP/system enablement, specific to:
- Planning, budgeting, and forecasting
- Business Finance
- Record to Report process (including close & consolidation)
- Order to Cash
- Procure to Pay
- Revenue or Cost Accounting / Allocations
- Management reporting and analytics design

Required Qualifications:
· Bachelors with 3-8 years of relevant Finance Operations/ Transformation experience
· Masters with 2-5 years of relevant Finance Operations/ Transformation experience
Experience Required:
· Experience working in Finance organizations or consulting organizations, advising finance business on one or more of the following areas: (Common Information Model, Chart of Accounts Design, Financial Data & System Integration, Reports and KPI Rationalization, Finance Analytics, Finance Process Reengineering/Redesign, Financial Close Optimization, Transformation Roadmap and Business Case Development)
· Strong understanding of Finance end to end processes and the ability to align ERP ‘out of box’ functionality with desired Finance future state capabilities
· Strong understanding of ERP/systems aligned to at least one critical business process (Record to Report, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Specialized Finance, Business Finance/ FP&A)
· Exceptional communication and presentation skills and executive presence to engage internal and client stakeholders effectively to drive design consensus and key program decisions
· Strong foundation in core consulting skills such as problem-solving, strategic thinking and robust proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
· Include excel and ppt – exceptional ppt and storyboarding skills
· Ability to navigate in complex global transformations engagements and go-getter mindset to deliver within the timeline
Preferred Experience:
· Experienced with Agile program delivery
· Strong experience on Finance processes (Record to Report, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Specialized Finance, Business Finance/ FP&A)
· Ability to translate technology functionality into process improvements
· Strong Finance functional specialization in at least one ERP is preferred (SAP, Oracle, Workday, Microsoft Dynamics)
· Ability to define and dialogue on benefits of technology solutions and its impact on business and Finance processes
· Practical experience in Finance Operations, Finance system transformation, FP&A, or EPM
· Experience with ‘Finance in a Digital World’ technologies such as process automation through robotics, predictive analytics, and visualization etc.
· Strong understanding of industry specific finance process depth in one or more key industries such as Consumer & Industrial Products, Financial Services Industry, Technology, Media & Entertainment, and Telecommunications, Life Sciences & HealthCare (e.g., IFRS, Revenue Recognition, RIM to Cost Accounting etc.)
· Strong foundation in core consulting skills such as problem-solving, strategic thinking, effective communication and robust proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
· Exposure to working in non-India Geographies (preferably the US) and/ or interacting with Global stakeholders
