Core Business Operations (CBO) is an integrated set of offerings that addresses our clients' core business issues. CBO provides a gamut of consulting services spanning advisory, implementation and operations. CBO practitioners help our clients transform, modernize, and run their existing technology platforms right from process design to implementation and finally ensuring roll-out transition.
CBO has four different offerings — Systems Engineering focused on design, delivery and support of large scale software applications and integrated systems; Cloud Engineering focused on end-to-end cloud services from migration strategy into transformation and cloud operations; Sector Packages focused on industry vertical, sector specific solutions that drive operational change and automate the core of the business; and Operations Transformation focused on creating a flexible, innovative business model for clients supported by a strong operations foundation. CBO serves clients across Life Sciences and Health Care, Government & Public Services and Financial Services among other industries.

Analyst/Consultant
At Deloitte Consulting, you will be responsible for designing, developing and deploying large scale complex software solutions at an enterprise level. These applications are often high-volume mission critical systems and would provide you an exposure to a broad range of technologies across all layers of architecture in the .NET technology stack. You will work with functional and technical teams on the project located across shores. You will need to understand functional requirements and should be able to develop technical design, using design patterns and be able to communicate the same effectively to the team members.
Work you’ll do
- Develop solutions following established technical design, application development standards and quality processes in projects
- Assess the impacts on technical design because of the changes in functional requirements.
- Perform independent code reviews and execute unit tests on modules developed by self and other junior team members on the project.
- Write well-designed, efficient, and testable code
The team
CBO practitioners work on design, delivery and support of a variety of solutions that help our clients meet business objectives. These solutions range from large scale ground-up custom developed applications, to cloud based development and integration services as well as customizing industry sector focused packages. As a .NET capability hire on this team, you would get opportunities to work on all adjacent area technologies such as user interface/user experience development, integration services, business rules engine solutions, or cloud based service.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
B.E. / B. Tech / M.C.A. / M.Sc. (CS)
Prior Experience:
2 to 4 years of web or application development experience using .NET, technology stack.
Required:
· Overall 2 - 4 years of design/development experience using .NET technology stack.
· Understand functional requirements and should be able to develop technical design, using standard patterns and be able to communicate the same effectively to the team members.
· Should have very good technical problem-solving skills.
· Analyze and identify gaps in functional/business requirement and should be able to effectively communicate with both Business and Functional analysts on the same.
· Should be able to assess the impacts on technical design because of the changes in functional requirements.
· Should be able to perform independent code reviews and execute unit tests on modules developed by self and other junior team members on the project.
· Should be strong in OOPS concepts VB.net, C#.net, Collections, Generics
· Should have experience in Web Technologies ASP.net (Web Forms, MVC), JavaScript, HTML
· Should have experience in ADO.NET OR Entity Framework and any OR mapping engines (NHibernate).
· Should have knowledge on any one of web frameworks and Persistence framework.
· Ability to develop Web services and WCF to expose and consume.
· Should have on knowledge on Enterprise Library, CAB, SCSF.
· Should have experience on IIS
· Ability to write build/configuration scripts using Build tools (Ant, MS Build), MSI creation
· Should have experience on various design patterns & .NET patterns
· Should have knowledge on UML (Class, Sequence, Domain Model)
· Strong knowledge on RDBM concepts. Ability to Write SQL with complex joins, Stored Procedures and should be able to use database functions in SQL Server/Oracle.
· Should have knowledge on Configuration Tools (TFS, CVS)
Preferred:
· Knowledge on VSTO, Open XML, NUNIT / MS Tests, Static Code Analysis, VBA, WF, WPF, BizTalk, SharePoint
· Knowledge on SSIS, SSRS
· Experience on AJAX and various supporting toolkit.
- Should have very strong communication skills.
- Should be a good team player.
- Should be able to coordinate with onsite/ functional/development teams for project tasks.
