Role- Senior Developer

Deloitte Tax Services India Private Limited commenced operations in June 2004. Since then, nearly all of the Deloitte Tax LLP (“Deloitte Tax”) U.S. service lines have obtained support through Deloitte Tax in India. Senior developer will be responsible for design, development, debugging, testing, deploying and supporting custom applications and modules that meet business requirements. Candidate will demonstrate a good understanding and working knowledge of the client's business and tax systems, and for meeting client deadlines.

This role is of a Senior Developer who has expert level knowledge designing & developing modern web applications using technologies like ASP.NET MVC, HTML5, CSS, Angular JS, jQuery, Web API, and bootstrap.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Provide solution architecture for the business problem, platform integration, designing and developing complex features.

·       Designing, programming & debugging enterprise class web application using the following technologies and tools:

o   .NET Framework 4.5 and above

o   C# and VB.net


o   .NET Core

o   HTML5, CSS3, jQuery and Bootstrap

o   Angular JS (a plus)

o   SQL Server 2012 and above

o   NO SQL db preferably MongoDB

o   Visual Studio 2016 and above

o   Restful Web API Services

o   SQL Server Integration Services (a plus)

o   Telerik/Kendo Controls

o   Solr & Search Configurations

o   Gulp Scripts

o   Git

·       Designing responsive web-pages using HTML5 and Bootstrap

·       Writing unit tests and knowledge of test driven development.

·       Writing and understanding complex MS SQL queries and MS SQL Stored procedures

·       Working with the tax team to provide application support.

·       Working with infrastructure team to administer web applications, services and database.

·       Ability to mentor other team members.

·       Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

·       Ability to work with people from different time zones.

Qualifications and Experience:

Qualification: B.E/B.Tech/MCA/MSC/MS

·       At least 6 years’ experience in software development with working knowledge in analysis, design and development of applications and/or systems using .NET and SQL.

·       Expertise in software architecture and design patterns including Helix.

·       Good understanding of design patterns and best practices of developing enterprise web applications

·       Experience of Web page performance optimization

·       Experience of data analytics and BI tools a plus

·       Experience in buid and deployment automation a plus

·       Additional training and certification in specialized degrees of technology is a plus.

·       Ability to gather and analyze requirements, produce technical designs, create the application, conduct software testing, implement the software solution and support production issues.

·       Development of application architecture, database design and/or computing platforms is a plus.

·       Ability to perform data intensive tasks and be skilled to organize the data for reporting requirements.

·       Ability to think analytically and should be a problem solver.

·       Ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.

·       Ability to work in a complex deadline oriented environment.

·       Ability to multi-task with little supervision.

·       Proficient in using analytical tools and instruments for instance MS Excel, Microsoft Access.

·       Tax or Accounting domain experience is a plus.

·       Excellent written and verbal communications skills at the business and technical level.

·       Self-starter and ability to work with minimum supervision.

Preferred Skills and Expertise:

·       Modern Frontend Technologies: React, Angular, Vue, etc.

·       Microsoft Azure – Azure App Services, Azure SQL, Azure Active Directory, and Azure Virtual Machines.

·       Azure DevOps Continuous Deployment and Release Management.

·       Strong presentation skills.

·       Preferable experience in Kubernetes.
