Developer – Cookie Compliance

Developer - DT Cookies requires dedicated ongoing knowledge within OneTrust and other technologies. This individual must become familiar with assigned products and/or specific technology areas. They must be able to assists the Technical Delivery Manager and Technical Lead with making technical decisions. They must be able to provide expert input on requirements and solutions, may support QA efforts and escalate issues and risks to leadership. They will assist in resolving technical production issues as well as monitoring of the production support queue. There may also be specific technical areas where training to user community and stakeholders will be requested.

Work you’ll do

The key job responsibilities include the following:

• Software prototyping and construction

– Design, Build, and Modify existing business-tier components, Web applications, and database objects using Microsoft platform technologies (ASP.NET MVC, C#, SQL Server), and Responsive UI frameworks

– Create prototypes, if necessary, to validate proposed solutions and seek feedback from stakeholders

– Good understanding and experience following test-driven development and continuous integration practices

• Analysis and Design

– Transforms high-level design in to low-level design, and implementation. 

– Work with Project Managers and Business Analysts to properly define/clarify business requirements, development estimation, and work plan finalization 

– Analyze business user requests, estimate tasks throughout the project life cycle, design and document appropriate solution, and design the business components and database objects required to implement the solution 

– Work with the Development Team to design the front-end and back-end systems necessary to fulfill document requirements 

– Coordinate with peers on design implications and work with them to resolve issues 

• Perform unit and integration testing on all developed code

– Create and execute unit and integration tests within development lifecycle

– Proactively benchmark application code to mitigate performance and scalability issues

– Work with Quality Assurance Team on issue reporting, resolution, and change control

• Support and Troubleshooting

– Assist Operations Team with any environment issues during application deployment across Development, QA, Staging, and Production environments.

– Assist Networking Group with troubleshooting problems that may arise from applications or integration of various components 

– Maintain application development servers with minimal assistance from Operations Group. “Train the trainers” is sometimes required depending on the complexity of the software and quality of external documentation


Required Skillset

• Minimum 6 years extensive experience with JavaScript, .NET, C#, REST, HTML, and SQL

• Proven ability to define and implement user and functional requirements using various technologies and troubleshoot technical issues

• Proven ability to deliver on project with defined deadlines and business commitments

• Proven ability to explain complex solutions to technical and nontechnical resources

• Proven ability to manage multiple commitments and deadlines

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar

• Proficiency in Microsoft suite of Office Products

• Strong understanding of SDLC process

• Excellent Client Service skills

• Strong communication and negotiating skills

• Strong organizational skills


Preferred Skill Set (Nice to Have)

• Experience with One Trust tool is a plus

• Prior experience with projects related to GDPR or Privacy compliance is a plus

• Knowledge of MS Azure Cloud is a plus

• Familiarity with industry recognized SAFE and/or Agile methodology

• Experience in working within a large project team with diverse technical skill sets

• Experience in establishing and managing priorities

• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, ability to handle diverse situations, multiple initiatives and rapidly changing priorities

• Possess good written and verbal communication skills to effectively articulate complex business scenarios effectively to people who has English as the secondary language

• Flexible working occasionally outside of normal business hours.

Work shift Timings: 11 AM to 8 PM
