UX/UI Design Consultant (3 – 6 years of experience)

Core Business Operations (CBO) is an integrated set of offerings that addresses our clients' core business issues. CBO provides a gamut of consulting services spanning advisory, implementation and operations. CBO practitioners help our clients transform, modernize, and run their existing technology platforms right from process design to implementation and finally ensuring roll-out transition. 

CBO has four different offerings — Systems Engineering focused on design, delivery and support of large scale software applications and integrated systems; Cloud Engineering focused on end-to-end cloud services from migration strategy into transformation and cloud operations; Core Industry Solutions focused on industry vertical, sector specific solutions that drive operational change and automate the core of the business; and Operations Transformation focused on creating a flexible, innovative business model for clients supported by a strong operations foundation. CBO serves clients across Life Sciences and Health Care, Government & Public Services and Financial Services among other industries.

About the role

As an UI/UX developer, you will be aligned to the Product Development Team within ConvergeHEALTH and will be working across product team to build and enhance the web-based and Mobile applications for our LSHC clients. Some of the high-level responsibilities will be -


Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to understand requirements, and provide creative, thoughtful design solutions

Communicate the user experience at various stages of the design process with wireframes, flow diagrams, storyboards, mock-ups, and prototypes

Participating in requirement gathering discussion with Product Owners and Clients

Provide guidance around design centred changes, refinements, and improvements keeping it more user-centric and focused on driving better on user experience 

The work you will do?

As a design consultant you will be working very closely with the cross functional team to come up with design solutions for the problem at hand. Your key responsibilities will include but not limited to:

Participate in every aspect of the process from strategy to execution while adding value along the way.

Identify Understand complex design problems, translate users pain points and research findings into impactful design solutions.

Collaborate with multiple project stakeholders, including product managers, engineers, and other designers in drafting and brainstorming initial concepts.

Visualize and prototype ideas to communicate design concepts via sketches, wireframes, hi-fidelity mock-ups and prototypes.

Possess an in-depth understanding of the fundamentals of visual design in terms of typography, colour, layout and apply them to translate wireframes to compelling visuals.

Take a user-centred design approach with a focus on making your designs accessible for all users.

Stay curious about the new developments in design and technology and share your experiences with the studio community during our chit-chat sessions.


QUALIFICATIONS: Education:

B.E. / B.Tech / M.C.A. / M.Sc (CS)


Prior Experience:

4 to 6 years of industry experience in UI/UX


Skills:

At least 3 years of hands on experience working on digital products, additional perks if you have worked on B2B products.

Portfolio showcasing your proficiency in translating research insights into great product experiences, reflecting the synthesis of good visual and interaction design principles.

Well-versed in using design and prototyping tools (Sketch, Figma, inVISION, Principle, Adobe Suite) to create top notch products and deliverables.

In-depth knowledge of native behavior of iOS, android design patterns and responsive web design standards. Cherry on top if you have prior experience in creating micro-interactions and animations. 

Excellent written and verbal communication skills to clearly articulate your ideas with stakeholders.

Effective at managing your time and maintain quality of deliverables.

Experience working with cross functional teams effectively and provide (and accept) constructive design feedback.
