Databases & Visualization - Solution Advisor

Our Forensic Analytics practice helps clients in identifying, developing and implementing solutions
for analytics enablement, and achieving their business, compliance and regulatory needs through
intelligent use of data analytics, using our experience and expertise in varied areas of data
management and analytics.
The team has been instrumental in Deloitte’s analytics growth journey and has played integral part in
delivering client engagements and developing the Deloitte proprietary analytic solutions.
Work you’ll do
Essential job requirements include:
• Analyze client requirements, perform gap analysis and design solutions
• Design and develop ETL processes to consolidate heterogeneous data into a centralized platform
• Create, manage, and utilize relational databases
• Utilize critical thinking and understanding of business issues to solve complex technical and
business-related problems
• Interact with clients and engagement teams to coordinate project work and ensure client
satisfaction
• Work with team members to build analytics solutions and present them to senior management
and/or clients
• Provide input with respect to firm's internal technology initiatives and investments
• Review deliverables for accuracy and quality
• Manage personal and professional development including expanding consulting skills
• Actively participate in practice development activities, such as new project proposals and firm
eminence activities
Key skills required include:
• Overall, 3-5 years of experience in data management, processing and analyzing transactional &
historical data with competency in a variety of analytics tools and programming languages such
as, but not limited to:
o Traditional DBs: SQL Server, SAS, Teradata, Oracle, Postgres
o Programming: T-SQL, PL/SQL, Base SAS, Python, R
o ETL: SSIS, Informatica, SAP BODS
o Data Wrangling: Alteryx, Trifacta
o Data Visualization: Tableau, Power BI, QlikView
• Good knowledge in data modelling, data quality, and data profiling is a must
• Strong data warehousing skills with ability to design robust data models
• Demonstrate problem solving and proven troubleshooting skills
• Experience in building data analytics solutions on AWS, Google Cloud, Azure is a plus
• Knowledge in any one business domains preferably Banking (Lines of Business / Finance/ Risk
functions), Internal Audit (Business processes & controls), AML (Anti Money Laundering), Fraud,
Forensic, Cyber Security, Accounting is a plus.

Regulatory & Operational Risk team leverages deep knowledge of industry-specific regulations with
demonstrated methodologies to design, assess, and transform the processes, controls, and
infrastructure needed to mitigate risk and achieve compliance.
Our professionals are skilled in varied analytical tools, technologies and methodologies such as Data
Management (on premise / cloud), Data Quality, Data Governance, Dashboarding & Visualization,
Automation, Machine Learning Natural Language Processing. Combining this with our knowledge of
industry and demonstrated methodologies to design, assess, and transform the processes, controls,
and infrastructure, we help clients in designing, implementing and managing analytical programs
successfully.
Qualifications
Required
• Bachelor’s Degree
Preferred
• MBA/Equivalent with specialization in Finance
• Certification in Cloud (AWS/ Azure / GCP) Data analytics or AI/ML
• Certification in SAS or SQL Server or Other relational databases or big data platforms
