Deloitte Advisory has an opening for a Network Architect Senior Consultant. This individual's primary function is to provide network infrastructure planning and deployment expertise to project teams and client organizations in the Cyber Risk space. Responsibilities include:
· Defining governance processes for network appliances, devices, boundaries, wireless networks, and networking software/firmware, covering lifecycle events such as post-procurement hardening, deployment, configuration, movement, change management, and decommissioning.
· Manage inventory, access, threat and vulnerability, and patching and security remediation workflows for network devices and software.
· Establish security controls and hardening baselines, perform risk posture assessments, and define network segmentation and micro-segmentation strategies for on-premises, virtual, and cloud networks.

Deloitte’s Cyber Strategy and Governance practice is focused on helping our clients to design and implement transformational programs to reduce and manage cyber threats. We help our clients to define their overall cyber strategy, design global, pan-enterprise programs that focus on mitigating threats; evaluate their objectives, priorities, strengths, and weaknesses; and roll out large-scale organizational changes to achieve goals.
Qualifications and experience Required:
· 6yrs plus experience
· Bachelors / Master’s degree in Computer Science or similar engineering discipline including Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering
· Proficiency and hand-on experience LAN, WAN, WLAN technologies
· Proficiency in implementing governance processes, security controls and hardening procedures for network infrastructure devices and appliances
· Proficiency in implementing/enforcing Network segmentation and micro-segmentation strategies for On-premises, Layer 2 and Layer 3 networks
· Excellent knowledge of Cisco, F5 and Juniper network systems. (routers, switches, Load balancers, firewalls)
· Excellent knowledge of OSI model, dynamic routing protocols, subnetting and supernetting
· Excellent knowledge of Enterprise carrier grade network design and deployment is a must. OEM’s Cisco or Juniper
· Excellent knowledge of L2 and L3 routing, switching and internetworking protocols like OSPF, BGP etc. is a must
· Understanding of Load balancers, GTM, LTM is a plus
· SDN Concepts with VMware NSX or Cisco ACI is desirable
· Certifications like CCNP, CCIE are a plus
· Understanding of endpoint security and cloud security solutions is a plus
· Requires strong analytical and communication skills as well as sound judgment and the ability to work effectively with Infra Architects, Network Security Architects, Technology Architects and Executives
