FSS – Commercial Finance (Pricing) - Analyst/ Senior Analyst

Finance & Shared Services (“FSS”) team provides support to our internal service lines across disciplines such as financial reporting, Business System, Resources Management, Talent, and Information Technology. In addition, we have other sub-teams under FSS which provides client service excellence on independence and other compliance checks.
Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Analyst/Analyst to join our Commercial Finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, with specific experience in pricing strategies, margin calculations, benchmarking, and scenario-based analysis. This role involves supporting the Master Service Agreement (MSA) pricing function in proposing MSA rates, helping shape and negotiate deals by drawing together competitive intelligence and client business requirements, and building various commercial models adopting diverse pricing methodologies.
Key Accountabilities:
Benchmarking: Conduct benchmarking studies to compare pricing strategies against industry standards and competitors. Utilize benchmarking data to recommend pricing adjustments and improvements.
Historical Analysis: Analyze historical revenue and margin data to identify trends and inform future pricing decisions. Prepare detailed reports and presentations on historical performance metrics.
Margin Calculations: Perform detailed margin calculations to ensure pricing strategies align with company financial goals. Analyze cost structures and pricing models to optimize profitability.
MSA Rate Proposals: Collaborate with the MSA team to develop and propose competitive MSA rates. Ensure proposed rates are aligned with company objectives and market conditions.
Commercial Terms Understanding: Maintain a thorough understanding of commercial terms and conditions. Provide insights and recommendations on commercial terms to optimize pricing agreements.
Discount Structures: Analyze and understand various discount structures and their impact on pricing and profitability. Develop and implement discount strategies that align with business goals.
Client-Facing Financial, Business, and Commercial Documents: Prepare client-facing financial, business, and commercial documents to support pricing negotiation discussions. Ensure all documents are accurate, professional, and aligned with client needs and company standards.
Pricing Tools Development and Maintenance: Build new pricing tools to enhance pricing analysis and decision-making capabilities. Maintain and update existing pricing tools to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Collecting MSA Documents and Variations: Collect and organize all Master Service Agreement (MSA) documents and their variations. Update key terms, commencement and expiry date, Price review clause including APR (Annual Price Review), and other relevant information in the data repository. Maintain an accurate and up-to-date database of all MSA documents to ensure easy access and retrieval.
Communicating MSA Expiry: Regularly review the data repository to identify MSAs that are due to expire. Communicate with the MSA team to provide a list of MSAs approaching their expiration dates. Assist the MSA team in preparing for renewals or renegotiations by providing necessary documentation and insights.
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in any filed, Advanced degree (MBA) or relevant certifications.
- 1-6 years of experience in pricing analysis, financial analysis, or a related role
- Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, VBA).
- Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI etc.
- Strong PowerPoint skills to prepare interactive client facing presentation.
- Demonstrated expertise in financial modeling, data analysis, and pricing strategies.
- Proven ability to lead projects and mentor junior team members.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to senior management and clients.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
- Experience in a consulting or professional services environment preferred.
