The Team

Cyber & Strategic Risk

The Cyber Risk Services—IAM Practice helps organizations in designing, developing, and implementing industry-leading IAM solutions to protect their information and confidential data, as well as help them build their businesses and supporting technologies to be more secure, vigilant, and resilient. The Cyber Risk Services—IAM team delivers service to clients through the following key areas of IAM:

  • Identity & Access Management
  • User provisioning
  • Privileged Identity & Access Management
  • Access certification
  • Access management and federation
  • Entitlements & roles management
  • Automated provisioning
  • Strong authentication
  • Auditing & Governance

Responsibilities:

The Key Responsibilities:

Governance & Oversight:

  • Responsible for tools, processes, controls, governance, and oversight activities for all IGA solutions for globally dispersed businesses, personnel, and customers enterprise-wide
  • Define and implement best practice IAM business processes, risk & controls.
  • Oversee and provide management oversight & control reviews of end-to-end IAM processes and controls.
  • Enhance and provide oversight of end-to-end access (re)certification processes and controls with a strong emphasis on completeness and accuracy validation procedures.
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of policies, procedures, and internal control documentation required for user provisioning, role changes, de-provisioning, auditing, etc.
  • Proactively works with technology and business managers to identify potential issues and ensures effective remediation and communication.
  • Recommending improvement opportunities IAM processes reducing inefficiencies and improving the company's risk posture
  • Define, enhance and implement training, FAQs, white glove sessions, and related communications for IAM services.
  • Document and refine IAM core policies, standards, procedures, and related flow charts supporting IAM services.
  • Partner with the onshore team to streamline the work and ensure nil misses around the audit.
  • Understand the use and support of reports related to key controls.
  • Identify opportunities to improve process efficiency and effectiveness.

Audits, Risk & Compliance:

  • Conduct walkthroughs with various audit functions to validate IAM access controls are designed and implemented accurately.
  • Oversee pre & post access certification campaign activities, escalations with certifiers, managers & app owners for pending certifications.
  • Represent the IAM organization on large-scale technology projects implemented outside IAM, regulatory reviews, and internal and external audits.
  • Ensure no audit requests miss the SLAs.
  • Partner with other IAM teams and ensure all the audit requests are delivered on time.

Qualifications and Experience

Required:

  • 2 to 10 years of experience in IAM, access controls, managing audit requests, and auditor conversations, etc.
  • Good analytical & problem-solving skills, proficient communication, and leadership skills to drive client conversation.
  • Good exposure to global audit regulations like SOX, SOC1, HIPAA, ITGC, etc.
  • Good knowledge & experience in Active Directory user administration, certificate management, group management.
  • Have experience conversing with internal/external auditors.
  • Good exposure to auditing language.
  • Experts in the MS Office suite.

Preferred:

  • Having experience with other IAM tools like AD, SailPoint, Saviynt, CyberArk, Okta, Quest, Azure AD will be a plus.
  • Administrative scripting experience using any scripting language- PowerShell, Perl, shell.
  • IAM audit certifications preferred.
  • Exposure to other security domains other than Identity & Access Management.
