Java Developer-Consultant - Cyber Identity

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Core Java Developer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development. This role involves collaborating across teams to ensure our applications meet business needs and drive innovation. Your primary focus will be in the Identity and Access Management domain, and a readiness to continually learn and adapt to the tools and technologies in this field is expected.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage Java and Java EE application development including develop, design, implement, and maintain Java applications that are often high-volume and low latency, required for mission-critical systems.
  • Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code adhering to industry best practices.
  • Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing applications, providing timely solutions.
  • Contribute to code reviews, providing valuable feedback to team members.
  • Write and execute unit tests to ensure code reliability and functionality.
  • Work with Relational Databases, SQL, ORM technologies (JDBC, JPA2, Hibernate), Java IO, File Handling, and networking concepts.
  • Knowledge of RESTful/SOAP web services and XML/JSON data format and parsing.
  • Work with databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB) to store, retrieve, and manipulate data.
  • Experience with GIT version control, ANT/Maven build tools, etc.
  • Implement security measures to safeguard applications from vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborate with the DevOps team for seamless deployment and application monitoring.
  • Document technical specifications and user manuals for effective knowledge transfer.
  • Employ performance optimization techniques to deliver a seamless user experience across various devices.

  • Ability to upskill to Identity and Access Management technology post joining.
  • Integrate IAM solutions with various enterprise systems and applications.
  • Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in IAM domain.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of IAM solutions.
Qualifications:

  • Strong proficiency in Java programming language.
  • 3.5+ years of experience developing Java/JEE applications.
  • Profound insight into Java and JEE internals (Classloading, Memory Management etc.).
  • Understanding of software development principles and methodologies (e.g., Agile).
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment with developers and stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
  • Knowledge of Springboot, AngularJS are a plus.
