Finance & Shared Services
The Finance & Shared Services team offers comprehensive support to both our client-facing and internal service lines. This includes various functions such as management & financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, accounts payable, debtor management, payroll, data quality, finance system support, and Business Intelligence development.
Furthermore, within FSS, we have subsidiary teams dedicated to ensuring client service excellence through independence and compliance checks. Our client contract management team provides specialized support to our strategic clients, assisting with reporting, contract reviews, and addressing their ad hoc queries.
Additionally, we have a presence in the human resources domain, known as People & Performance Transaction Services (PPTS). Recently, we have expanded into Information Technology Services as well.

Workforce Management
Each member of our team is a trusted advisor ensuring that the right people are on the right jobs at the right time. Our key responsibility is to ensure the optimal resourcing solution for the client, the business and the individual in a timely and commercially sound manner. The Workforce Management team manages the allocation of practitioners on client work, influences capability development for individuals across the business while also providing strategic recommendations and resourcing insights to the leadership team. Additionally, the team handles data management, reporting and analysis, onboarding communication, all while resolving scheduling conflicts efficiently. We work in collaboration with other key partners such as Talent, Finance and Talent Acquisition.

What will your typical day look like?
The Workforce Management function is a function within the T&T Enabling Areas team. You will proactively work with the business to manage demand, supply and capability: allocating staff on engagements, identifying the most suitable person (considering skills and career aspirations) for the engagements as well as focusing on profitability and client service delivery. You will report to the Manager of Workforce Management (Portfolio) Australia and Senior Manager of Workforce Management GDN.
Work you’ll do
- Workforce Allocation and Reporting:
- Strategically resources engagements with appropriate mix of resources (level, skills, experience and aspirations) to meet engagement needs, balancing appropriately business and staff objectives
- Manages the day-to-day engagement conflicts and requirement processes, addressing the more complex and strategic issues and escalating as appropriate
- Thinks beyond current BAU activities and appropriately plans for future resourcing projects
- Shares strategic insights during preparation of reporting to provide strong business recommendations
- Provides insights to business leadership on skills shortage as well as supply and demand trends
- Provide accurate and timely reports to leadership, including data analysis and insights. This includes but is not limited to weekly management reports, variance, utilisation and adhoc reporting
- Facilitate and contribute to the weekly resourcing calls and meetings in relation to the allocation of practitioners for the relevant offering.
- Review the short and long-term capacity information. Understand the business unit stress points on resourcing and work with business to develop strategies to support this
- Forecast Management:
- Oversee and make sure the resource database is accurate and up to date
- Maintain STAFFIT as a live and accurate database to reflect development in regards to the deployment (proposed or confirmed) of practitioners
- Managing and updating data on new starters, transfers and departures
- People Expertise
- Build relationships with the practitioners within the relevant offering
- Working collaboratively with Partners, Directors and Managers to drive effective and efficient workforce planning
- Leads the Strategic Resourcing meetings
- Work with the Australian (on-shore) team and other team members in managing workflow
- Work with the leaders of the business stream to identify opportunities for practitioners to develop their careers
- Continuous communication with practitioners and management regarding assignments, future deployment, and the maintenance of practitioner data
- Collaborates with Talent Acquisition regarding pipeline, skill shortages and supply/demand trends
- Induct all new joiners in relation to Workforce Management
- Oversee completion of practitioner’s resumes and the reminders for updating of resumes on a regular basis
- Conduct due diligence on Talent headcount check to verify the accuracy of profiles, cost centres and staff levels.
- Facilitate training of the scheduling system and in Workforce Management procedures and processes to practitioners

- Shift Timings: 6.30 AM to 3.30 PM

- Good understanding of the professional services environment with prior experience in workforce management, Talent or Project Management

- Technical prerequisites:
- Workforce Management, Talent or related experience
- Advanced skills in: Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook as well as intermediate skills in Microsoft PowerPoint

Qualifications:
· Any graduate with Advanced MS Excel skill
· 4 to 6 years of work experience
