The Data Analytics team contributes largely to the vision of transformation and continuous improvement. The key objective of this team is to work hand in hand with the Transformation COE and the Service Lines to analyze large set of data to obtain meaningful insights and identify potential action items that would contribute in process optimization.
Responsibilities of Assistant Manager - Data Scientist include, but are not limited to:
- Work closely with Canadian CBS Process Optimization team and service delivery leaders, identifying and agreeing to the scope and business outcomes defined to achieve from various sets of data available at a firm level
- (ServiceNow and other internal tools/databases)
- complex unstructured data to arrange and prepare for descriptive, diagnostic, and predictive analysis
- of the end-to-end internal processes such as runtime, downtime, work queue, bottlenecks, showstoppers, engagement, traffic, adoption etc.
- with the help of Python and R language and other open-source analytical tools
- the current practice that would contribute to process improvement
- Translate conceptual questions into data driven analysis for leaders to take informed decisions
- ServiceNow knowledge articles
- like (tableau, Power BI, PowerPoint, PDF and other related tools)
- Providing hands-on guidance and expertise in GenAI, data analytics techniques, tools, and methodologies. This includes helping team understand data manipulation, exploratory data analysis, statistical analysis, and data visualization techniques.
- Assisting team in breaking down complex problems into manageable tasks, guiding them through the process of formulating hypotheses, selecting appropriate analytical techniques, and interpreting results.
- Introducing team to new tools, libraries, and technologies relevant to data analytics, and guiding them in practical applications through hands-on tutorials and projects.
- Overseeing the projects assigned to team members, providing guidance on project scoping, prioritization of tasks, and ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines.
- Guiding team in documenting their analysis workflows, methodologies, and findings in a clear and concise manner, and assisting them in preparing reports, presentations, and dashboards for stakeholders.
Experience required (but not limited to)
- Python & R language
- BI tools like tableau or Power BI
- basic SQL queries to store, manage, retrieve data in databases
- statistical analytical tools
- (including VB macros)
- Analytical and curious thinker; ability to cross-reference and make connections to changes and impact
- · Experience in metrics and analytics interpretation
- experience modules including performance analytics module is preferable
- Ability to write queries for creating various dashboards and reports in ServiceNow
- Gen AI tools
- Basic understanding of different programming languages
Skills Required (but not limited to)
- B.Tech/B.Sc/Degree in statistics, computer science or mathematics equivalent
- is a plus.
- Professionals with 7 + years of experience in data analytics, data mining, big data
- In-depth knowledge of statistical modeling, and data mining techniques. Strong understanding of data preprocessing, and feature engineering.
- Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in data science such as Python/R, and SQL.
- Gen-AI tasks such as text, image generation, and code generation. Ex: GPT-3, Codex, GitHub Copilot, Bard.
- Ability to showcase the technical solution implemented and present it to all stakeholders.
- Excellent Troubleshooting & Analytical skills.
- to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
- Adept at identifying business problems, formulating hypotheses, and applying analytical techniques to derive actionable insights and solutions.

Work location & shift timings:
- Hyderabad office
- Flexible to work hybrid model (minimum 2 days a week and additional days as and when there is a business need)
- 9 hours shifts between 14:00. to 23:00 (IST)
